Format it using your Vista Disk. Insert the Vista Disk in your dvd writer and restart your computer, boot from the vista cd as prompted and it will take you to the screen where you will have to choose which Drive you want to faormat, in this case choose Drive c: and it will copy everything into drivem c: without interfering with other drives
After copmletion everything will still be there on you drive D: and E:

If you have a technician who has been handling your system, then I suggest you better call him up.

Your vista cd is a 'bootable' cd.This means that u can boot (start) ur pc using that cd. Just insert that cd in ur cd-rom and restart ur pc. Before anything comes on ur pc(while starting) It will show u this msg "Press any key to boot from cd..." This msg is shown only for 5 secs so be fast.
When u press any key, the installer will start. It will load installation files on ur memory and then eventually ur vista setup will start. It'll ask u on which drive u wanna install vista. U select C:\ drive. It'll say vista already exists on this drive and give u some warnings.Ignore them and continue. It'll ask u whether u wanna FORMAT C DRIVE.
This is the part that u want.Say yes and continue.
It'll SAFELY format the drive...
lol...
Take care buddy.....

Formatting your drive C means installing a new operating system.
Insert the Vista installer in your CDROM, reboot and in the setup, configure your system to boot from your CD drive.
Vista will then be installed in your system, just follow the instructions.
Warning: format only the partition on your drive C, so that drives D and E will remain untouched and safe.

Well, Just Put in a Boot able disk, And keep First boot able device as floppy or CD.
Then when You are in DOS
Just go to c:
and
type in
format c: /s/q
it will ask for confirmation
/s/q switches will do the following task
/q = quick format.
/s = Copies system files to the disk.
Then again restart
put in the boot able disk again
start with CD rom support (It will read the DVD automatically)
put in the Vista DVD after DOS has started
and start the installation.
