Do you prefer to use drinking straws?

i mostly prefer to drink without using a straw except for the formal places where i have to act and look decent i prefer using straw otherwise no. I think that using straw destroys the real taste of your drink. If you drink directly it will give you the exact taste but by using straw i feel there is some problem with the taste. You can try having water with a straw you will feel that the taste of that water is changed.

I prefer to use the drinking straw for coke and pepsi.

i prefer it when i am drinking Cold drinks or something from container. its very useful at those times. otherwise I can't just take cold drinks from bottle directly

I usually dont use straws in my drinks. Canned drinks if no glasss will be availabe but basicaly I usually dont use straws. Merry Christmas Happy New year!

I use straws most of the time when I am drinking something. My soda is normally in a cup with a straw. Same with my iced tea. The only thing I really drink without a straw is hot tea. My kids both prefer straws too.

I have a friend who told me that we should check first the inside of straw because it accumulates dirt sometimes. So before I drink using straw, i look at it first to make sure it is clean. But i do uses straw especially if drinking outside our home. In the resto, bars, etc.

I use straws in cups at McDonalds and Burger King and fast food joints but not with cans or bottles. Actually bottles I find straws annoying!

I very rarely use a drinking straw unless I order water through the drive thru. I usually drink out of some type of bottle.

Yes, using a straw helps me sip better. it's also nicer to use when I have lipstick on or lip gloss. That way, my makeup stays in place. And another reason why I use a straw is so that I don't have to drink from the same spot that other people also drink from. But come to think of it, if straws are recycled then it'll be mixed with other trash and then reproduced again so it seems more gross....

It's the same with me friend! I also use straws only if I am drinking from bottles and cans. It's just for safety purposes. The mouth of the bottle or can might not be clean and we can get sick if we swallowed something dirty. Sometimes when I travel I buy sodas in cans. If I can wash the can in a restroom then I can drink from it without using a straw. Ciao!

Hey dolce! I used to use straws alot but not so much anymore. I don't know why. I guess that I just got so used to not using them. I hardly ever drink from cans at all. And the stores don't even give them to you anymore. It is hard to drink from the bottles with them. They just don't seem to reach. So I have given them up pretty much. There was a time when I wouldn't drink anything without them. Oh, well it's just one less thing for me to worry about!

I use to ALWAYS use straws but not so much any more. I use them when i get drinks from like McDonald's or Taco Bell or something like that. Other then that i don't really any more all though i use to use one all the time no matter what i was drinking. My mom would always buy the straws that where different colors and i always used the blue {my favorite color} first then use the rest of them.

i buy my own straws. i dont get any straws when i need to to have or i need it on my drink.... well except for fast food like Mc donalds and likes. when travelling i alwaysbuy straws and i even buy the bending straws. well that is for hygenical purposes only. me and my children are not much of straw user drinkers ( wow thats mouthful) but i always have straws at home.

I know this is going to sound really immature and lame but I hate drinking from a straw! When I was little I remember kids singing this little diddy about someone chewing bubble gum and Herman the worm. I'm not sure exactly how the diddy went but I know in the end the kid accidentally swallowed the worm through a straw. Ever since hearing that when I was young I hated to drink from a straw. I felt like I never knew what could be in my drink that I might swallow. Although I knew if I poured the drink and checked the cup and straw that there is no way possible a worm could get in there but I still was always worried about it anyway. I don't know without actually being in a resturant and using a straw if I still check them. I don't think I do but I'm really not sure. It might be so pressed into my brain for so many years that I might do it without even realizing it.

Yes, I usually will use these every time that I drink at home. I have a bag full of them that I bought from Family Dollar for $1.00. They are very pretty too. I like to sip my drinks rather than to swallow it whole.

I only use drinking straw either in for softdrinks, water or margarita in glass. But if it in can or bottled, I do not use drinking straws.

I always drink with a straw. I have sensitive teeth and the straw really helps. I especially like to use a straw when drinking from cans or bottles and drinks with ice.

Actually that is so funny because every time i'm at mcdonalds or burger king i grab a handful of straws so i can stock up the bar at my house. I use them everytime i make a big stiff drink at home.
