Mylot strategy,New Threshold-What is yours?

After weeks(well I have been here three weeks to be exact)of contemplating my involvement on mylot it has been confirmed I am sticking around a bit longer .For a moment there I felt as if my earnings had reached a threshold and no matter how much I participated it seemed that my earnings couldnt pass 24 cents.This is not to say since my time I havent seen any growth (my first day I earned 8 cents and after that 15 cents then 24 )however it seemed that 24 cents was a threshold I couldnt break above,I could go down but not up.
Yesterday however, after particiapting in thirteen discussion/responses,I finally saw earnings of 48 cents.I am happy but this is somewhat bittesweet because this is atleast one and a half times my usual participation and means that even though I earned more,my per discsussion rate (if we may analyse it as such )hasn't gone up .
Nevertheless I will soldier on and see if I can earn more by breaking through another threshold and even earn more on a per discussion basis.

I am glad that you plan to stick around for awhile. This is a really nice site and althought the money isn't great,the friends that you will make here are fantastic! I have been here over a year and I love it here. I have made several good friends and I have earned a little money too. What more could you want?

MyLot is fun, the money is a nice bonus. You are not going to get rich on here, but it's nice extra money. I have earned about a dollar in one day many times, but I don't participate as much as I used to, so my average earnings are only about 10 cents per day. Sometimes it takes me 2-3 months to cash out at the lowest $10.00 payout, but it's okay. I enjoy coming here! Welcome to the Lot! Glad you enjoy it too. :-)

I agree. ANY extra money is nice extra money! ;) I love myLot! Even when my posts get deleted through NO fault of my own, I still come back and just make new posts! Yay for myLot! :)

well as for me, i will stick around mylot too and will probably be here as long as they pay me.. anyway it thus give me a couple of bucks additional for expenses. hehe

I am pretty sure that you will break many thresholds in the days and weeks to come. I have started off with 2-3 cents to averaging 30-40 cents per day. My highest is about 80 cents. I know there are some people who mylot endlessly and eanr $1 or $2. I think you would need to spend a lot of time here. But I have other things to do, so I can only mylot when I have the extra time. Don't worry! YOu will definitely enjoy making money here.

well, how many hours did you spend here? If you are spending the whole day and you only have that earnings, that is not fun!! but if you will enjoy yourself with the discussion of others, you will never feel like you are not earning. Try to response at least 50 discussions a day and you will see the difference. good luck to you.

Well, you probably won't make more than 11 bucks a month here unless you have good referrals, but I'm sure that you will like it here. I think it just depends on if it's an active day and if you have time to respond and make discussions. I have made 1.67 in one day before, but I was on it all day, it must have been a Saturday. I could actually probably get a part time job and make much more, but for now I'm not.

i think you are making the right decision by planning to stay here a little bit longer... this is a great site and i had been here for more than 2 years now... though i have my ups and downs here and i don't really get paid that much, but i love this site and enjoy being here because of the friendship and new knowledge that i can gain from here... so i will really encourage you to stick here a little bit longer and see what happens... take care and have a nice day...

Try to stick around a little longer and you'll see that Mylot is worth it. I'm glad that you earn more than usually. My advice to you is try to response a longer responses per discussion in other mylotters topic. Four to five sentences per response could earn you a .02 rate. One liner or short response normally is just a .01 cents.

hello friend,I think it is normal to a newbie to earn less money on mylot.Because i have had experienced this kind of situation, at the beginning of posting on mylot, it only paid me 1 cent or 2 cents for one response.But after i know the how to earn more pennies with the posting, my earning really increases a lot in the future posting.don't worry, you will learn how to make more earnings gradually.if you want to learn some skills, just check my new discussion:

Yay... dont give up yet. You only have 89 discussions under your belt. I had a record earning of over a dollar once.... but then look at me I've got 600 discussions under my belt. Keep it up, and even if you don't earn a lot of money you get to talk to great people like me....
Try adding pictures to my lot and see if that helps your earnings.

Well you do know that if you comment on the same discussion twice you don't get any credit for it right? (the number besides your name doesnt go up)... the longer your responses the better, also mylot pays depending on the usefulness of your responses... so if you get best answer that helps. I noticed the days i got best answers my earnings were more regardless if i posted more or less on previous days.
