Did you throw the food that leftover in lunch or dinner? How about when you eat in restaurant did you leave the almost half leftover food? I always put the food that we leftover in refrigerator, I put cover well and the next day I use it or reheat to eat again. Throwing the food that leftover is not good for me. I think how many people that didn't eat 3 times a day, so I'm feel bad if I throw it. I also ask to make take out the almost half leftover in restaurant when I eat,And when I see poor people in street I give them the food, that I took out from the restaurant. Its better rather than the restaurant throw the food in trashcan. So, doing this I feel happy to saw the people was smile at me and say THANK YOU.... How about you? What did you do in your leftover food?

We always use our left overs. Sometimes the next day sometime adding to other dishes for a full meal. I always take any left over when eating out. We will eat them the next day. There aren't any street people in my area soI can't give the left overs to them. Besides I don't know if it would be allowed.

That a good hobby to use or eat again the leftover food, because I believe food is God precious gift on us. Keep the way you doing, but one thing i remind you, make sure the food are good for next two days. The food mostly easy to became not good is the one with tomato. Thanks deebomb, Have a nice weekdays

freshly cut tomatoes will keep for up to 14 days at 5 degrees celsius. In fact the keeping tomato slices at temperatures above 10 °C increased their antioxidant content, the shelf-life of the product was reduced by up 4 days

Hi miamhae. We always eat our leftovers. Depending on what it is, sometimes I combine it to make a different dish. We hate to waste food and we almost always have a day or two of leftovers. When we go to the restaurant and we have food leftover, we ask for a box to take it home. Unless it's at Golden Coral where you can't do that because it's buffet style lol. If I have too much leftovers and I don't think it will get eaten in the week, I try to freeze some of it, depending on what it is.

We will eat our leftovers the next day. If I cook a whole lot I will use zip lock bags and freeze the rest of it. When my spouse and I eat out we take the leftovers home to the children.

Its much better rather to throw after you have leftover, keep in fridge then maybe your be hunger again that day, so you have in fridge you don't need to buy again outside. As now life as so became so hard and hard we need to think how we can save money. Thanks Nhey16, have a nice day! Take care

I take it with me because I might become hungry later. Also there have been times when I have thrown it away. But I have been keeping it lately and throwing away food when you are low on money is a bad idea anyway.

i usually freeze it because we as a family dont like to eat the same meals two nights in a row. then about once every couple of weeks, we will have a left over night for supper and just take out bits and pieces of what we have had in the past. fortunately, my family dont really care and will eat it.

I have nothing to do with leftovers here and I don't know what happens to it. Maybe the maids have nothing left over because there are five maids here. Cheers!!

Same here, I always put the leftover in the refrigerator, I just put some cling wrap over the food container and it will be good to eat it next day. I really don't like throwing the food, really makes me feel depressed if I throw it knowing that many people hungry and have no food. And if I'm in the restaurant and if I or any members of my family happen to have a leftover especially if it's too many, we will just ask to take out the remaining foods. And if we happen to see some street children or people, we will just give those food to them. Doing that, quite make me feel happy that I can help them in a small way.

mom usually reheat the leftover food for breakfast.. it's a waste if you will just throw away the leftover.. just think of thousands of people who die of hunger each year then you'll realize the importance of food..

we would keep in the fridge and heat it up again for the next meal. it would be a waste to throw them againand also not morally right to do so

we love leftovers. I never throw them out. I either just reheat them the next day or make them into another dish (like turning pasta into chili mac). I usually take home restaurant leftovers too though I rarely have food leftover :) throwing out good food is wasteful and leftovers keep me from having to cook so I love them!

Oh we never throw away leftovers if there's an amount worth saving! Actually my mom cooks enough for two days sometimes, just so we have some. But yes, a lot of it can be remade into new dishes - combined, etc. Normally we don't order that much restaurant food that we have leftovers, but if we do, we ask for a container and take it home to finish. That is so nice of you to give it to the poor! I definitely would rather give to the poor than just let it be thrown away and found later in the disgusting dumpster. Thank you and take care.

When I cook a meal at home and can't finish it, I always place it in a box and put it in the fridge. I too do not like to see food go to waste so I save it for a later meal in the day. When I am at a restaurant and have leftovers, I take a doggy bag and usually finish it at home when I am hungry. I find restaurant leftovers taste amazing! In conclusion, I always save food regardless of the situation!
