You'r Cat's Name

My female cat, who is not very friendly and accepts being petted on her terms, is named Scoots, she is grey, white and beige. When she was kitten, she would scoot all over the house. My male cat, who has the personality of a human and acts like a dog, who also eats fish food is named Jake, he is black and white. They both are long haired.

when my brother and i were young, my mom came home to find that we have adopted a bunch of stray kittens. we named them by making them cross a chessboard, and the last piece a kitten topples would be its name. i remember that one of them was named King, and there was also a Bishop. we didn't get to keep them, though. we were only allowed to keep one. the one we chose didn't cross the chessboard. he was sitting on my brother's Bobcat backpack. we called him Bob. hehe.

The cat in our house has 2 names. Bit of a long story..*deep breath* Ok well basically I thought it was a stray as it kept coming round and it looked a bit thin... So me and my housemates fed it and would then let it back out in the hope it had an actual home. We named it Kit as in the nick name for the playwright Christopher Marlowe as we are all Drama Students living in our house. Anyway a few weeks later we see a lost cat sign and call the owners. Turns out the cat had been staying at a friend of the owners house and had run away. His real name is Hugo. Anyway since then, we see the cat occasionally, he is our part time cat. We hope he spends more time at his actual home - he looks better fed anyway than when we first met him!

My crazy cat's name is Ukio. She got her name from my ex-boyfriend's best friend. Her name comes from some Japanase cartoon character I think from Ranma 1/2. Then my mom has three cats named Muffin, Sheba and Lucky. Muffin and Sheba got their names from the vet assistant that was taking care of and Lucky got her name because she was lucky to get a home with us when she was a part of litters of kitten from a lady that one of my mom's good friend knew.

I have had 5 cats in total. Chip, Dale, Jojo, Doofy and Bloo. The first three have past away but the last two girls are still around. The Doofy was my husbands idea because of how crazy the Burmese cats are, which is what the fourth cat is.

Tuffy, Stinky, Scaredy Cat, Sherbet, Lemon Orange, Hugh, Karen, Frighten, and Spaz I let my kids name some of them. ;)

My cats names are Raistlin and Caramon, inspired from the Dragonlance Saga Novels :D

my oldest cat is a tabby with orange streaks, she is called sally; a black and white female called Tux as she has a white 'tuxedo' front; a little tiny black and white cat called Felix , as she looks like the felix in the cat advert; a big black tom cat called Tyson; a white cat with tabby markings, she has several names, kitkat. baby cat, but her original name was strawberry ! other cats i have owned in the past, a blue burmese called felix; a black and white half feral half persian called tinker; a white persian called Monty; a big black female called,very originally , Blackie ; a ginger tom called muffin; and last but not least, another tabby called whisky, who sadly got run over when she was 7 months old

I do not think that that sounds crazy at all especially since a lot of people in the world are cat people and cat lovers,and I have seen people come up with some pretty interesting names for their cats,names that are very unique and that you do not usually see cats called by,and at my parents house we have two cats right now one is a old female tabby inside cat named Mrs. Missy which we have had her since she was a kitten and I am not sure how she got her name,and the other is an outside cat who we are not sure how old he is and his name is Boots we are not sure why he is called boots but it could be because he has white paws that kind of look like boots,and he came with the house,he was on the porch when we bought the house eight years ago last month,and he is still on the porch now,we had another cat that came with the house he was a solid black cat named Bear,but he went off into the woods one day and never came back,and I brought a brown cat home whose name was Spot but she always went off into the woods one day and never came back,so it seems like there is something in the woods that killed the two cats,and there was one day my mom found a mutilated bunny in our back yard so there might be a coyote out there,and there was one day where boots disappeared for two days straight without eating,and we thought he was not coming back,but then the next day he was back on the porch,and my mom said she looked at him,and he did not look injured,so who knows why he was gone so long.

I can give you the names of several of our cats. Our current cat's name is Sleepy. Previous cats, starting with most recent, were: Johnny, Iggy, Sugar, Square Face, J.B., Plucky and Molly. We've had other cats, but I don't remember their names. The outdoor cats didn't last very long.

ok, but I warn you this list is a little long.. I have Gobi, Plush, Squirt, Veronica,and her sister Vanessa, their babies Sahara, Saffron, Shetana, Kohl, Domino, Brandis, Shady Lady, and new babies I think are going to be Solar and Lunar. I think that is everyone I have now- I have many other names of the cats that came before them. I love trying to find the right name- and I love the unusual so that there are not so many cats out there sharing our names.. lol

My last cat was named Kitty Kitty Meow Meow. It acted just like a dog. It was a house cat for awhile, then got out. After that when I let it out, all I had to do was call it in a sing-songy way "Meow Meow, Meow Meow", and it would came running like a dog when called. I could see it on down the street or walking the train tracks above, and call her, and she would run to me right then and there. Kitty Kitty Meow Meow was my favorit and best cat. Someone was cruel enough to poison her, and after a three day search, the neighborhood kids found her for me. I could tell she suffered badly. When I meet my savior. I hope to find that He lets us have back our loving pets.

My manx is named Katwah. She doesn't answer to her name. She answers to the canned cat food when it's being opened.

You really asked for it! I have four inside and 5 outside cats. Inside are: Murphy for Murphy Brown. She is 15 years old and is just like the character on the show. Then there is Dinglebeary who is a male Maine Koon cat...both of them are rescues. Then the babies are Khuay which is Thai for bashful and Det which is Thai for brave. They both live up to their names, but Det didn't really like the name so we renamed him Willy. Outside is Ralphie who is 17, Groucho, Harpo, Indy (For Indiana Jones) and Feather who's fur reminds you of an eagles feather.

Boy are you in for it!!! I have 9 cats, four inside and 5 outside. The inside crew are: Murphy, for Murphy Brown. She's a 14 year old lynx point Siamese and lives up to her name. Then there is Dinglebeary, a 7 year old Maine Koon cat. The babies are Khuay, which is Thai for bashful or shy (when I got them he was the one who hid!) and Det which is Thai for brave; we call him Willy because he didn't really like the name I gave him. Outside cats are Ralphie, who is 17 and semi wild. Then Harpo, Groucho, Indy (For Indiana Jones-this one is a she)and Feather. The last four are feral adoptees that live on my land.

My cat name is Montyidle. The reason why I gave my female cat this name, because I was very interested in watching a classic comedy show called Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Smokey is my male Blue Gray Russian/Egyptian Mau-he is a smokey blue color, short haired with big green eyes, tall straight ears, a very long tail and he is huge 22 lbs. He is eight years old and adopted from our local humane society when he was six weeks old. Harley is our tiger kitten. My husband found her sitting in the frame of his semi trailer and brought her home.

I have two cats.. Blackie and Whitie.. hahaha! Well, that's because one's black one's white. My parents said why have to give such a difficult name to remember, initially was Miko and Mibu. So decided, Blackie and Whitie! lol

I work for a veterinarian, and as you can imagine, it's really hard to say no when one needs a home. So..... we have six right now.
