other names your parents almost named you before they decided on your name now?

My parents thought that I was a boy when my mother was still pregnant on me. They told me that if I was a boy, they will name me Andy. I don't know whey they will name me like that, I just didn't ask. My name is okay with me right now and knowing that it is a combination of may parents' names make it more special.

As far as I could recall, my father said the name "Mark" had already been decided on even before I was born. I don't know where they got my second name though and if they had decided on several choices at all. Lol, but they did think of naming me "Michelle" if I had been born a girl. They could have named me Mitchell though but my dad settled on "Mark."
