I have tasted a lot of Turkey during Thanksgiving. But I only tasted one really good baked turkey. It was tender and really juicy. I dont know what my friend did but I did like it.
Most of the ones I tasted were just not as tender as that one.
Can somebody tell me what to do to have a nice delcious, tender and juicy turkey for thanskgiving?

My husband makes a fantastic turkey. First he melts a lot of butter and mixes in cajun spice. He injects this mixture into the turkey all over. Then he makes little slits in the skin and puts pats of butter underneath the skin over the whole turkey. Then we bake it covered for a few hours and uncovered for the last hour or two for the skin to brown. It is delicious!

Wow! I like the sound of this. We don't celebrate thanksgiving but I will do this with my Christmas turkey. Thanks for the suggestion

To keep my turkey moist I take a turkey baster and about every hour I will get some juice from the bottom of the ban and baste the turkey with it, it is a surefire way to keep your turkey moist and juicy I am not a good cook but I can make a nice juicy turkey.
