I was doing really well with my weight loss but lately not so much. Im not eating as healthy as I could and been snacking quite a bit. Im still exercising, going to the gym and walking but my etaing habits have just been really bad lately. I dont know why though. I was doing really well. Just had the occasional treat and lost weight. I have comfort ate in the past but I havent really been depressed so I dont think its that. I wanna lose enough weight to be able to wear a short dress for my birthda night out at the end of January so I have a goal to aim towards. I just hope I make it.

Don't feel guilty about eating bad lately, just try to pick it up again and eat healty. It helps me if I weight myself each week and write down how much I weigh at that moment. And measuring my waist and write it down. At the moment I'm using a CD-rom of weightwatchers to write this down and write down also what I eat. This way I see what's the effect of a "bad" week and a "good" week and this keeps me motivated to eat well. Maybe making what you do to lose weight more visible for yourself can keep you motivated?
Good luck! You can do it!

I prefer to measure myself monthly because I find scales can be innacurate but Im not going to lose an inch a month so doing it montly gives me more time. Also if I do not eat so good at the start of the month it means I have a bit longer to get back on track. I write down my measurements and when I can compre them to last months and they are lower it makes me feel good about myself. I am still exercising and keeping fairly fit and I do find now that I do not put on as much weight as I used to. I think my metabloism has changed.

It is very hard for me to lose weight. The only thing that works for me is cutting back & that is so hard to do. I have a lot of health problems & one of them is diabetes. I know I should eat right. You have to have a made up mind. When you get hungry eat low calorie food such as light popcorn. I beleive if I could get my weight off my health would improve. It is so hard. My life is centered around food & that is not good. I need to learn to "eat to live" & not "live to eat".

I know the feeling. I've been struggling with my weight for the last 6-8 months. I managed to lose 24 pounds and then over the last two months put on 12 pounds. I make every excuse in the book to not exercise. Since working part time I do a lot of walking and I don't eat as much as I use to when I'm home not working. I'm eating more salads and less fatty foods, which is a good thing. I've lost 3 pounds and hoping to lose more. I've got to stay positive and know that I can do it. Keep going donna :)

It's ok to get off of track. As long as you know to get back on track. I've read an incredible book lately call "You On a diet" and it brings into light the reasons why we eat the reason why we eat. And also to give are selves a desinated u-turn. Meaning even though you have a bad snack or you get off track it's ok and make that u- turn to get back to a healthy lifestyle. Also to make sure that youg et to your goals walk or exercise every day. Remember you can walk 30 mins a day and still see results. BUt remember it has to be everyday! That why you get into a routine.

You still have lots of time, you'll make it. It's really hard work taking weight off but, if you really want it you will do it. Just keep up the great work and don't stop until you get there.

Sometimes as winter comes on you feel the need for different kinds of foods that may not be healthy.
I trick myself by saying, "I think I'll have some tea, and decide if I still need that cheese, or whatever."
I also keep a mirror at my desk. That is huge motivation not to nibble the pounds on.
Not everyday can be a great day. Keep it up! You can do it!
