I had spend countless time research and trying to find best digital SLR camera for me, so I can use it for years. I have shoot and point camera but it doesn't capture details very well and have more noises that what I am disappointed most. I have Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18. It has flexible features but indoor do not well with this camera. I am interested in Canon EOS XSI because of features and good quality pictures and it have best price. There are other digital camera that i will like most is Nikon 80d and 90d. Canon 40d and 50d... I want is deep and exact details in the photos when they are enlarged instead become blur for portrait, landscape, and natural.. also i want able to take picture of pets. Plus, I want the digital camera will be good for indoor and night time, too.. I do not want have it too much noises. Also I want take a chance catch the most important moments. What is your best suggestion for digital DSLR? If you used your own DSLR, share your experience about it.. Express your thoughts. If you knew about my current digital camera and made a good detail picture, explain to me how to do that correct way. No flashes please. Flashes make picture look flat.

All of the cameras on your list are excellent and will do what you want. I have used most (not the Nikon D90) and I own the Canon50D, amongst others. I would actually suggest the Canon40D. Because the 0D has just been released, and the 40D is going to stay in production, the 40D pricing has become very attractive, and the lower megapixel count is actually an advantage in keeping noise under control, However, all are very fine cameras, and since you are researching, you should move to the next stage and take some phots with each camera; or at very least, handle them in the store. No matter how good the specifications, if a camera doesn't have the "feel" it is the wrong camera.

I agree with taking the camera out for a "test run". That way you know it is the right fit for you. I ordered mine online, but I had a friend that let me borrow his for a weekend before I bought my camera. That worked out great.

I currently use a Canon Digital Rebel XTI. I am not a professional, but I do take a lot of pictures. I have not had any issues with the camera. I just ordered a new 100mm-300mm lens for it, I should be reveiving it today. I can't wait to get out into the woods and get some pictures of wildlife. I have really enjoyed the Canon camera it is a great all round camera for anyone.

I would suggest you get a media card that the cameras use and ask to use the camera in the store and if you could take it outside and shoot a few photos. Try different things and then review them at home and see what you like and don't like about the photos. How does the camera feel and react when you use it.
