Budget for Toys

As the holidays are approaching I'm starting to feel the stress of the holiday budget. I try to spend the same amount of money for toys for both of my children. I also try and make sure they have the same amount of presents to unwrap. What do you think is a fair amount of money to spend on each child?

I don't think its so much about what you spend as whether they get the thing that they most want. anything else is a bonus.
I have two children and am going to sit down this evening and finalise the shopping list for them. guessing that if i get them corresponding price similar presents there won't be any arguments or upset christmas morning. i don't know about you but i find the whole thing quite a stressful challenge sometimes to make sure that everyone has what they want. hopefully mummy christmas will get it right again this year. good luck with your shopping x
