I could have sworn that I turned off my bedroom light as I left out my bedroom..

I've never had anything like that happen or if I have I didn't notice. I'm not a big believer on ghosts simply b/c I've never seen one...however that is what it sounds like you have. I'd just keep a record of what happens, when and what time and see if you can find a pattern to it. I don't know who you would talk to about it though. Hi Cream, Well if you are getting the feeling of being watched too it does sound like you have a visiting spitit in the home or it could be that your daughter has started sleep walking and watches you without being aware and turns the light on and turns back and gets into bed and goes to sleep. Please don't let this frighten you though. If you are fairly new to your home the spitir is just checking you out LOL. Huggles. Ellie :D

That is very eerie. I am not sure what to tell you here. I guess if strange things continue to happen like this then maybe you should have your house investigated by a proffesional. Perhaps the noises could be explained by little critters in the walls or in the attic area. Or little birds in your dryer vent trying to keep warm.

That is really weird, do any of them sleep walk maybe and they turned it on? Or it could be that you did leave it on and you just forgot that you did. That happens to me a lot.

We have that happen in our house plus we hear our names being called and the TV will come on by itself. We have had the toilet lid fall down too. I have seen a little girl here and my husband has seen something. My older 2 daughters said that they had a little boy that visited them. I think the only part that ever freaked me out was when I would be in the kitchen and feel as if a young shild was tugging on my pant leg and when sitting I would hear a young kid say mommy. I look at it as, they want us to know that they are here and are at times trying to communicate. It hasnt happened as much since we redid the kitchen thou. I wouldnt let it freak you out, It doesnt seem to be there to harm you.

hmm,sounds quite creepy and eerie thing to me. I think you got a spiritual visitor or something, I don't know if it just want to tell some message or a harmless one. You know, actually, I'm pretty afraid with these kind of things, something I don't want to feel or experience. But there are times that I do feel something like that like in our old house, in those times, I pray until I calm down and the eeriness that I feel has gone. I really don't like to be alone in our old house, because every now and then, I experienced that feeling there. Good thing though, in our new house there's nothing like that there. Anyway, hope you'll know what is that all about and if it is really a spirit, hope it's harmless to you and your family.

sounds pretty eerie to me. i have an open mind when it comes to such things and i do not discount anything because i believe anything is possible. i think there is a whole lot more to our existence than just us humans and this realm we live in. who is to say one way or the other what it could or could not be. perhaps documenting when things happen will help and from now on make sure you are very sure you shut the light in the room when you leave so you will know if something is really going on. have you discussed this with your kids? if not, don't because you want to be sure no one is playing a trick on you. let us know what happens.

I have had this happen to me but for me it was the oppisite with the light. It was in fact friday when it happened, my sister had came over with my 2 year old neice and my 1 year old neice to visit. So I figured it would be the best time to get a shower cause she could watch my boys for me. So I went into the bathroom and got what I needed together and then I decided to get food done up for all the children to eat so I decided to close the bathroom door so the little one's could not get in there because with the water on. I had left the light on when I left the bathroom. When I went in 10 minutes later to get my shower the light was shut off. So me thinking it shut off by itself I decicded to check but relized that the light switch is a side switch and not a up and down one. Not only has that happened to me but one day when my son was little, he was sleeping and my hubby was at work so I thought it would be the best time to unpack from moving and as I bent down to pick up a box to unpack something/parnormal thing had touched my butt, so I turned around thinking it was my son but it wasn't. I have had many other experinces with this stuff too. Oh one of the responses you got about 2 daughter's having a little boy visiting, well I was one of thoes daughters that it happened to. To me it's nothing inless it gets to personal like one time I had a picture of my two children on a dresser in the middle of it in fact and it all of sudden got thrown into the garbage can and I was in bed and watched it happened, I was so upset because the picture is so precious to me as it is the only one I have from the first two children I had that I don't have custody of. So other then this, it does not bother me. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Happy Mylotting

that was prety creepy.I could have fainted if i was in your shoes.I guess you can tell your husband about it.or better yet consult someone who has knowledge on paranormal things.Just dont tell the kids about the problem,they might get pretty scared.I hope things will get better in your place.

I think you have a friendly ghost in your home. You might not believe it, but I used not to until I saw one or two for myself. Do not be frightened though. They usually need your help. My cousin bought a house with his wife and five children. They used to go out in the evenings and when they came home every light in their home would of been turned on. It did not spook them, but they knew it was not them or their kids doing it. They moved from that house, to one nearby as it was too small for them all. A year or so later my cousin bought a local newspaper and it had a photograph of his old house with big black headlines on it, saying "Have you ever lived in this House?" He read on and discovered that its new owners had been tortured with a Poltergiest. It was opening doors and things and really frightening them. The got Church men and all in to exorcise the house, but it failed. The family had to move out and the house still remains boarded up. My cousin went and told his story about the lights always being turned on, but he said that was all that had happened to them. I hope I am not frightening you. Maybe one of your children has turned it on without you seeing it. Maybe you left the light on yourself. But if you incist you did not, then keep a check to see if it happens again. I am sure there is a simple solution and hopefully not a ghost.

i didnt ever have an opinion on ghosts until i stayed at my friends dads home and had the same things happen, freaky, you know when your being watched, most likey something creepy is there but if its not bothering you let it be?

I think there must be something weird in it. when you switched off, how can it be? plus you have heard the noise. be careful next time.

I really think that stuff like this is happening more and more. I wonder why?? The water in our bathroom sink comes on all of the time and it is one of those type of faucets that you have to flip up , it cannot be done by itself. We hear foot steps, my toddler has seen and talked to something. It scared him the first time he seen it but now he is used to it I guess. I have never seen it , for some reason he is the only one that can see it. We all hear it though. Knocks on the wall, lights, shadows, water coming on, tv coming on and being turned up all of the way, radio getting turned off, front door flying open, etc etc etc I wonder if because it is getting close to the end of times this is all happening more??? Or does that even make sense?? I just want to know what is going on.

I suppose there are things that are not so easy to explain. I would be interested to find out if it happened again or else I would just forget about it and chalk it up to something unexplained. Cheers!!

Well, sometimes I experience similar things as this. The light just turn on without anybody in the room, or it will turned off without someone in there. I figured out maybe there is something wrong with the connection? There are times also that i am hearing sounds when I am alone but I did not mind it. I don't want to think that there is something weird around me. Because the more you think about it the it will happen. There are times that some little things were just lost in front of me when I put it down after using it and when I want to use it again it's lost!!! I can't find it? Weird but I did not put meaning in this. I just ignore it. Just don;t mind and and it will be gone. spirits are just testing you. LOL.

Hi cream97, Sounds like you have a visitor with you, I think if you can, just ask them what they want and say a pray for them to go over to the light. if you are too scared you might want to go to your spiritualist church and talk to a meduinm he/she can cleanse the place for you. Tamara
