Can you recall the first time you were paid through Internet Schemes

I remember around this time last year I was trying to get a Rapidshare account. For those whom don't know about Rapidshare, it's a place where people upload stuff, paying members get faster download speeds and can download more files per day. Anyway.... I decided to use good old google to see if there was any way I could earn money to pay for it. In this case, Paypal because that what Payment Processor they use. I stumbled on a place called AWSurveys, I was blown away that you could earn so much money at home filling out surveys. Hey, I was a noob so gimmie a break :P So I filled out all the Surveys, of course being from New Zealand meant that 90% of them I couldn't do, but I did have $5 in that account and I was stoked. After failing to get others to sign up after me, I started searching for other ways to make money. I think it was TurboBux, or Advercash I found, anyway it was one of those "now scam Paid To Click Sites" or maybe it was a blog, hmmm that sounds more plausible. At that time I was so pleased to be earning money, I was such a nubster, which is a level down from being a noobie :P One of those Paid to click sites had a site named DailyClicks, which was paying through Paypal and you could Cash Out at $1, incredible for that time. What was even more astounding is that they had 15 Ad's at a cent each for standard Members. I grabbed the blowere [telephone] and got my Brother-in-Law and Sister to sign up so I could reach cashout. It took under a week, I was proudly requesting a cashout. Back then I didn't know how fickle Paid to Click Sites are, but DailyClicks changed thier policy and all cash outs were returned, and you could only request payment once your reached $2.50. On the 22nd of December 2007 I recieved my first payment of $2.52 from Dailyclicks, it was real money in my Paypal account and more importantly it was a step closer to getting membership to Rapidshare. In the end, I upgraded on the site for $11 and was paid a total of $148.72 before the site went down and stopped paying. I did get my Rapidshare account and a MegaUpload account. That $2.52 I will always remember because that broke my virginity, hehehehehehehe... As it stands today, I have officially recieved payment in my New Zealand bank account in New Zealand dollars $726, in US it's $427, if I include the payments I made for Rapidshare and MegaUpload, it's $487 in total or around $40 per month which I am more than happy with. I have been burnt along the way, but I'm more pleased with getting money than all the bad experiences I've had. So my question to you is... Tell me the first time you were paid. Tell me your motivation. Even if you haven't been paid, tell us your aspirations. And finally summarise your experience regarding the method you earn money. And that leads me to my final perception or comments regarding Paid to Click Sites. Paid to Click Sites are risky, there a more scam sites than there are legitimate sites. Don't look for quick financial solutions in Paid to Click sites and don't put all your eggs in one basket just because they have paid you. NEVER, I mean, NEVER use the same password at any Paid to Click Site, or any earning site. Look for Paid to Click Sites that you can reach Cash Out within 2 months, and that pay within 12 weeks. If you have any doubts about a Paid to Click Site, post at MyLot, or search the internet. In regards to mylot, please don't post your links in threads, so now I'm waiting, maybe your experiences will enrich all of us to perhaps try something new to earn money.
