I've never done that. I always brush my teeth in front of the sink. Although, I suppose it would save time, but I'd hate to somehow get shampoo and/or conditioner on my bristles. That would not taste good.

Hi CJay,
I am like you. I do it separately. After waking up in the morning I brush my teeth as first thing in the morning. I have seen many people taking tea or coffee without brushing the teeth. But I can't do it. So I prefer to do it as in the first thing in the beginning of the day. I will go for a bath after doing the brushing. It is a habit from the childhood.

Hi bala, thanks for the FR, I thought I add you already before, but I guess I forgot, lol! I think you can wash the foam right away, because your in the shower, . Some people say's that it saved them some time for doing it in the shower, maybe you can try. Thanks, bala.

Hi cjay
After getting up in the morning I go to take shower and I brush there only. I am always in a rush to go to office. On Sundays and Holidays I brush at the sink.
BTW, do you know that whenever I get headcahes I kind of brush it off. Brushing makes me feel better.

Reporting back for duty Cj...i tried my darndest but sorry to report twas "Mission Impossible" for me...Haha i suck at multi-tasking in the shower...although proud to report,i usually pick out clothes to wear & would proceed to 'iron' them while brushing teeth...even at the risk of getting mildly electrocuted...Does that count?; )

Thanks for coming back, Fiki.Sorry to here that it was a 'mission impossible' I guess not all of us got the talent, lol! I too suck at multi-tasking and I have been trying it for quite some time now and not succeeded yet, lol. Please don't play with electricity, Fiki.
Happy Holidays.

i have seen my mother doing so,sometimes my hubby,i cannot for my life imagine how they do it.(maybe because its my habit).they cite reasons such as they can save time,if they do two tasks together,i think its akin to multitasking.

It saves the environment too as well as water, James. I hope you always remember to put toothpaste and not shampoo or anything else in that brush or vice versa.

i always brush my teeth while in the shower. the first thing i do when i wake up is take a shower. since i'm in the shower, i might as well brush my teeth right? i find that doing this saves me time during the morning. furthermore, i don't have to worry about getting toothpaste on my clothes. cheers

I brush my teeth at the sink usually. I use very warm water in the shower so I cannot use that hot water to brush teeth with.

well, i really don't have the habit of brushing teeth while having a shower or bath. i do brush after getting up from bed in the morning and before laying down for sleep in the night, maybe this habit is not scientific too. but i've used to do like that.

What???! How many people actually do this?! Well... after reading some of the responses from your post, I guess quite a few! Never heard of that before. I guess, mayyyybe, if I were running extremely late to something I might consider it! LoL!

Nope I keep my showering and my tooth brushing completely seperate. I would have to put my toothbrush down to finish my shower, in the shower and that would be kind of gross. Too much bacteria potential in the shower to put my toothbrush down in there, what if it fell on the ground where everyone's feet go, and all the hair falls down? Gross.

Sometimes i brush my teeth simultaneous with bathing specially when im in a hurry.DOing two things at the same time is a common practice for me to be able to save time. But o regular days or during times wherein i have a lot of time to spare, i usually do the regular thing.bathing in the shower and brushing my teeth in the sink.
