I am a natural right handed person. I can use my left hand for many things. But naturally I use my right hand for the majority of the things I have to do first at least. Except when it comes to typing. I equally use both of my hands to type as I've been trained to use all fingers, sit properly and use the correct fingers on the "home" keys and everything.
How about you, what is your experienced in life, are you right handed or left handed? Did you get it from your mom or dad?
Me I got it from my Mom, I think, I never knew my dad, but my Mom was right handed as well.

In my family all are & were right-handed person, so I am right-handed too. I think you get this habit from the person you observe the most in your childhood, & that are certainly your parents. I do all my work from the right hand, but whenever I try doing any work from my left hand, I make a lot of mistakes.
One of my friend was also a right-handed, but once his right hand got fractured & he had to do all his work from left hand. And now he can use both his hands efficiently. I wonder how much people can use both their hand efficiently for all types of works, except of course, typing.

i'm right-handed, but i also use bith hands when typying. at the moment it;s a good thing i'm right-handed as i have a cast on my left, which makes typing a whole new challenge, when you're used to typing with both hands, lol. both of my parents are right handed although my dad can use both equally, which i do to a point, just can't write well left-handed.

I am naturally a right handed person and I have been holding pens since I was young using my right hand. My aunt told me that my mother used to write using her left hand and eventually she had to learn to use her right hand because my grandfather would spank her.

I'm right handed like most. Both my parents are right handed so it's wasn't that much of a surprise that I was. although I do use both hands for many things, basketball, writing, etc, etc.

I am predominately right handed but like you I can also use my left hand for many things. Over the years I have been using my left hand for more and more things I do in my daily life. Many years ago my Dad had a stroke and it affected his right side, he also was right handed. Well, he could do very little with that hand any more as it shook more and was weaker. His every day life changed and he had to train his brain and his left hand to work together. Needless to say, it was not easy. I was helping him in his therapy and realized that I had better start using my left hand as well. I recommend that everyone try to do more things with their opposite hand, you never know.

I am a left handed person, I can use my right hand for different things, but I have to use my left when eating and writing, and using scissors. Yeah, I get teased alot for being left handed, my husband is always saying I do things backwards, its not backwards for me, or if I'm eating someone will say your using the wrong hand..lol. I play the guitar, but I learned to play it right handed, I've tried using my left hand but its hard. I think I got it from my dad, he was a lefty, there are 5 of us kids, and only two of us are lefty's.

I'm right handed for most of the stuff I do... still I can write and type with both hands. My mom was left handed, but in school they forced her to write with her right hand. My dad is also a left handed, it has been all his life...
My brother can write with both hands but my sister is right handed only.
Happy MyLotting and have a nice day!

I am right handed although when I broke my left hand last year, I realize how much I do with my left hand. Things like opening jars. Part of that is because I am a former dental assistant. My left hand was my instrument passing hand. Also, my dad is a leftie but is actually ambidextrous (he uses both hands). For example, he can bowl with either hand. He can do the same with many sports (batting, throwing, dribbling etc.)

Im right handed but I can use my left hand as good as my right to do things to like dribling a basketball, writing. I can also type real good with both hands. I think Im right handed because of my parents because their both right handed, I dont really know I can do things with my left hand as good as my right hand but I usualy use my right hand to do everything.

Hello,
i'm a left hand person, just like some one others in the history (just to tell one, Leonardo Da Vinci, that not only was a left hand, but also was writing in a "mirrored" way).
Anyway i can write with the right hand too, and i'm beable to do the most of the things with both the hands

I'm one of the 10% of the worlds population who are naturally left-handed! My father was left handed and so is one of my sisters. The rest are right-handed! My own children take after their right-handed Dad.
I'm quite ambidextrous though as I can do many things right-handed, things like using scissors, tin-openers tools and for some reason my computer mouse. I write, draw and knit both right and left handed, which people find odd as I don't turn my knitting round!
I can't type even though I tried to learn. I'm one of these people who have to use one finger and look at the keys. lol
Sometimes it can be awkward being left-handed and even back in the 50's & 60's, when I was at school, Teachers tried to force us to use 'the right' hand even going so far as to hit us over the back of our hand with a wooden rule!
I'm glad they still don't do that. It's not as if we have any choice, it's genetics and decided long before birth! I read somewhere recently that the percentages are getting higher as prejudism against lefties is being seen for the superstitious nonsense it is. It must still be a problem in some cultures though.

I am right handed. Everyone on both sides of my family are right handed. My ex-husband and his family are all right handed. But my son is left-handed. Amazing. I can write with my left hand, but do it slowly and it doesn't look great (like a kid's handwriting). And growing up on the farm did a lot with my left hand as well as my right when working on the farm. But I am definitely right-handed person.

I am right handed for most everything but the mouse. My mouse is still set for right handed butttons, but I use my left hand, this drives everyone at work crazy when they have to use my pc. I had tendonitis in my right wrist years ago and just started mousing left because it was more comfortable for me and now I am used to it.

I am a right handed prson. My mother is right handed and my dad is left handed so I guess I takeit from my mom. Ironically I have two sons one which is right handed and one which is left handed. Both me and my husband are right-handed. So I guess I can blame my dad for my one left handed one too! LOL

I am also a natural right-handed person, when it comes to writing. But I do carry my bag over my left shoulder. For other stuff, I can use either left or right or both, like texting, typing, sweeping the floor etc. My favorite tennis player, Rafael Nadal is a natural right-handed as well except for playing tennis.

Well when I was younger I hurt my left hand pretty bad.. It was crushed from an electric tailgate.. I was always right handed but had to switch to my left. So after 2yrs of therapy on my right hand I was able to pick up where I left off. So I can do activities with both I still only prefer one.. thats my right hand.
