Any type, unique or old fashioned, store bought or home made, complicated or easy...I want to know. For me personally, I would have to say oatmeal chocolate chip. I have a fantastic recipe that keeps the dough from getting flat and also stays chewy. Although some people like a crisp cookie. Its the holidays and I am wondering what people like? And lets make it a lil more fun...who do u know that makes the BEST cookies you have ever had? I would have to say my mom!

I personally love oatmeal and raisin cookies, which is funny since I don't like the two separate. Go figure. I also love chocolate chips but I like to microwave them and let the chocolate chips get gooey. I used to make microwave cookies since I had a cookbook on how to cook everything in the microwave, but they always came out too hard. i think I just put it on the wrong setting.

my favorite cookies are chocolate chip. i especially like the "chocolate chunk" cookies you can buy at the store. i would have to say for homemade chocolate chip cookies, mine are the best i've ever made. they are always chewy and not hard. they stay chewy until they are all eaten.

I like that sort of cookie quite a lot as well. I like them warm with the chocolate still kind of dripping about as you eat it. Homemade, still warm and chewy cookies are one of life's simplest pleasures.

Chocolate chip cookies are DEFINITELY the BEST! Chocolate chunk are good, too. :) But, homemade chocolate chip cookies can't be beat! Chewy cookies are good! But, they can only become cookies if you don't eat all of the dough first! Not that *I* would EVER do something like THAT! ;)

Oh my gosh you guys I have a KILLER oatmeal raisin cookie recipe. I am not a big raisin fan, but even I go crazy over this cookie, and every time I make them for family or friends they cant believe how good they are. Here is the recipe. Remember, let your butter soften naturally and you will not have flat cookies. If u mircowave your butter it doesnt workout very well. BUT THE SECRET IS IN SOAKING THE RAISINS!! Trust me!! :) Enjoy.
Britt's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
3 eggs beaten
1 cup raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 1/2 cups all purpose white flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups quick 1 minute rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans (optional) *I never add nuts as my husband is allergic.*
Combine eggs, vanilla, and raisins in a small bowl; Cover and let stand for one hour. *soaking the raisins is so important! It will set your cookie apart from any other!*
Preheat oven to 350 F
In a large bowl, cream the butter, white sugar and brown sugar together. Sift together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda; stir into the creamed mixture. Then stir in the raisin mixture, rolled oats, and nuts(optional)
* Once the oats are added, I really suggest mixing the ingredients all together with your hands. Messy, but works so much better then a spoon!*
Drop by teaspoonfuls on unprepared cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. :) Enjoy!
If you try it let me know what u think! :)

My favorite cookie is no bake cookies. I enjoy these very much especially the ones I make myself. There so delicious. I would have to say my Grandma makes the best cookies. My mom doesn't cook them and sometimes I do but nothing can compare to hers.

I'd have to say my grandmother's sugar cookies. I've tried to duplicate her recipe but it's just not the same. I also love Girl Scout Thin Mints.

I have three different favorites. First favorite is homemade oatmeal chocolate chip. I like to think the way I make them is the best way. Second, I like those snackwell's devil food cookies. Third, I like the girl scout macaroons.

I love the type with large chocolate chunks in them. Cookies are also good with nuts in them. It is difficult for me to choose one favorite! I really also enjoy the type with macadamia nuts and white chocolate. They are so delicious. My favorite type of cookie is fresh baked and still warm and soft from the oven. No type of cookie can beat that. I cannot decide who makes the best sort that I know...most everyone I know makes a fantastic cookie.
