St.Judes childrens hospital

I know of a lot of charities in this world,but this hospital is the one I donate to every month.I researched the founding of this hospital and it was founded by Danny Thomas.If memory serves me correctly it was because he prayed to St.Jude for his wife's
safe recovery and in return he promised to do something great.His wife recovered keeping to his word he started this hospital in St.Judes name,his daughter Marlo now runs things,Marlo is the woman that played in "That Girl" many years ago.I really feel that with this charity all my money is going towards research into cancer cures,or for families that need help while caring for a loved one with cancer.What a wonderful feeling it is to know I am making a difference,if you have the money to spare,which I really don't,send them $20 a month it will be the best $20 you will ever spend.My gas and electric bill will always be high,the $20 I send them every month wouldn't change that,however it does change the life a child.How better to spend my money,I would give every dime I had if it meant saving a child.

It is an excellent hospital. I also donate to it, but not monthly. I donate a lot to CHOP, too, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Both are wonderful hospitals.
