I like reading detective books and comic books. Which type of books do you like reading? Which is your favorite author?

I really do not have any time to do any reading. I have not really read a book since high school. I'm just not much into it.

Ouch. I cannot live without reading books... You must really have a hectic schedule for you not to be able to read books.

Well, I Love to read from time to time. It is really something that can take your mind away to another point in time and make you tend to forget sometimes about what is really going on in your world as well. Some of my favorite types of books to read are Romance, Romantic Adventure and True Crime. Some of my favorite authors are Danielle Steele, Nora Roberts, and Anne Rule.

I too love reading detective books. In my vernacular tongue Bengali, my favourite authors are Satyajit Ray and Sharadendu Bandopadhyay and in English my favourites are Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie. I just love the simple language and old world charm of these authors.

I'm predominantly a fiction fan, although I have a decent library of non-fiction material. My current addiction is PNR or paranormal romance novels. They are romance novels with a fantasy twists. Common characters would include vampires, demons, weres, fae, etc. There are plenty of good authors in this genre, and my to-be-read list is getting longer and longer. Reading is my favorite hobby, and I enjoy the escapism that fiction gives me when I read.

Those with life stories/ series. I love the Harry Potter series. And more recently, I just fell in love with the Twilight saga! I also like the books written by Dan Brown. Very exiting. I loved Sidney Sheldon's creations too. For romance, I like the works of Judith McNaught and Jude Devereaux.

Hello ajithlal. When I was still a student and when I just started to work in the first few years, I used to read a lot of novels, either detective or romantic ones. But now I seldom read other books except my professional books.

I find drama books very interesting, as those books make me feel what the main characters in the story are feeling. I place myself in that character's position and decide what I WILL do if I was given the choice to pick. It was strange, really, because sometimes, you find yourself debating with your inner self as to what is right or what is wrong. These books also make me discover myself... a self whom I don't fully know yet.
