Things sure were different back then. They were better, we all had more money, the economy was better, more people were working. We weren't in a war, that keeps going and going. Clinton was a good President, maybe we will have another Clinton for President again. The next election will be interesting.

Since I was just a child when he was in office I don't know if I wish he was still President. I have heard good things that he did for the USA. I will vote for Hilary next year. Maybe things will be about the same as they were when Mr. Clinton was in office.

You can add me on that spiel; I voted for Clinton both times he ran; I love him today and though he did some things that wasn't right, I'm not upholding all of that there, I considered him a darn good President. I remember when he ran in 1992, man, folks ran out to the polls voting for him; My sister(who was still living) and her husband had to wait in line for over an hour just to vote. I was in the military at the time and I did absentee ballot to Alabama. I will say this; Since then, the Dems just haven't gotten anyone, although I felt Gore could have kept up the momentum and he tried, to cut the mustard like he did.

I'm not even in your country but from what i can tell, Bill Clinton did a pretty good job over there for the country & to make it better he was smart (unlike the current president) & although he made a mistake - i really did like the guy, i still do! I reckon if i was voting at your next election - Hilary would have to be my choice, she's so smart, friendly yet i reckon she could get things done, it's just a shame that whoever goes in next will have a big old mess there to clean up thanks to good ol' George W Bush. I wonder what made the country vote him in, in the first place - were people just that disgusted with what Bill did that they all just voted for the next guy who came along? Good luck next time & i hope people vote Hilary in coz i think she could work wonders if given half a chance!

i agree with you. "it is the economy, stupid." this statement was made famous by him. he may not be the best in foreign affairs but at least he don't go around invading other countries for reasons which are still baffling a lot of people today.

I am going to say I HATE these kind of discussions, but I will give you my "2 cents" anyway. For one, Clinton is the reason we have all the problems that we do. He was the inventor of "The New World Order" which is was gives Bush the right to do whatever he wants in office. So, if you hate Bush, whatever, I am not going to say he is great. Yet! I will say the reason he can do half of the stuff we hate him doing is because of clinton. Two, for those people who said there was no war when clinton was in office. Join the ARMY! We are ALWAYS at war. Wether they tell you we are or not, we are!! It was keeps America peaceful! The war is over there not here! Three, I have never heard anyone say something bad about Bush that is legit. The only thing I hear is how he can't open a door. IT WAS LOCKED!! Atleast he was down to earth and just laughed it off. Four, Clintons wife will NEVER be president, because more people (even woman) believe that no woman could be president than the people that do. And in the end, for all you Bush haters, I am a republican and HATED Clinton, but I respected him, and I just wish you people would respect Bush. He may not be the best president, but he is still your president!

yeah i would've loved to have Bill Clinton STILL in the office. darn the 8-year term thing. i think it would've been better to see how Clinton handles the 9/11 attack rather than sending every man, woman, and child over there to get killed. but sometimes i do wonder if we had any other choice. now that Hilary Clinton is running, if she wins, maybe Bill will be her background voice.
