Is it true to say I have fallen in love with somebody I met on the internet or it is just infatuation. I wonder where love is going with the bulk of liar on the web if really one can find true love.

I knew my husband from internet. But at that time, we did not fall in love yet till he came to my country. Then we get to know each other much more deeper. And we did fall in love with other after that. :-)
I felt more real to see and observe him in real.

It depends from person to person....but most of them wont consider internet love as real love because the absence of physcial presence..there are many people who cheat on internet.

Yes, you can fall in love with someone over the Internet but the probability of that happening I think is very small due to various factors. I think often when people get into a romantic relationship over the Internet, they more than anything else fall in love with the idea of falling in love with someone over the Internet because it's something very different and exciting. Often people just IMAGINE the guy/girl to be the guy/girl of their dreams while in reality he/she may be completely different. People also often project themselves as who they want to be rather than who they actually are and since the person at the other end has no possible means of verifying this, it accentuates the feeling that they have met their perfect match or something. There are also people out there who just like to fool around with people and lure them into something for whatever purposes so a lot of caution needs to be exercised while dating online. The only instance where such relationship can prosper is when BOTH the people in the relationship have been truthful to each other about EVERYTHING and don't have any secrats hidden in the background. They should still meet and date in the physical world before thinking of anything serious like marriage because even if they had a lot of chemistry online, it is possible that they may not have the same chemistry when they meet each other in the physical world. So all in all, I think it is possible to fall in love over the Internet but people should still try and meet people in the physical world and not depend solely upon the online thing.

I think it does, personally, I have seen and witnessed good relationship which starts up with an online affair, but definitely, there are of course risk on it, since the person you are dealing with is a total stranger from yourself, many testimonies too have tragic ends. I think when a person engages in this kind of activity he/she should take a mile to know the person better.
