I could never wear a wig my friend, but I guess it's different for ladies than it is men regarding hair, I have seen good wigs on men and also very bad fitting ones which just look silly, sorry! I actually prefer to go bald naturally because I don't like hair anyhow, I am too lazy to brush or comb it so the less hair I have the better, that is why I keep my hair cropped so it's easy to maintain.

They could have done a Carry on Film, 'Carry On Don't Lose Your Wig' or "Carry On Follow That Wig' or there's always Toupee or Not Toupee! That is the question ;0)

When I had cancer and on chemo I lost my hair. I had turbans and I had wigs and neither was comfortable for me and I went without 99% of the time. Anything like that on my head gives me such a headache. A hoodie on a wind breaker or a jacket are ok since they are not snug on my head.

My sister had some lovely wigs when she had cancer. When she had surgery that caused them to shave just half of her head, her care giver just put the other half in beaded dread locks. LOL

When I wore that wig to that halloween party, it kept trying to fall off and it was leaning side to side lol oh well guess its a good thing I have my own long thick wavey hair because I am not a good wig wearer lol

Given the choice between hair that is really thinning and a wig, I'd probably opt for the wig.

I have never worn a wig. I wouldn't say whether I would or would not wear one. I do not anything tight on my head. I guess if I had so much hair loss that I felt uncomfortable, I might use scarves instead of a wig. I do not even use a hat in the winter time.

You just made me remember my big floppy hat that I had back in the sixties when they were in style, I loved that hat. I guess I wore it out and threw it away....yea, I would have to find an alternative to the wig lol

I am a head-sweater. ..... No, I am not a hat!............but a person who sweats big time from my head! When I was in marching band, everyone else's hair would get flat from their uniform hat. When I took mine off, my hair was always soaking wet. I don't think I could wear a wig without boiling in it! I have thin hair to begin with (mostly in the front) so I've often wondered about it thinning even more. Hmmm..........

I am sure I caould wear a wig if I tried. But to be honest I never have. But if it can't down to using a wig. I am sure I could. I have a friend who wears a wig alot. So, if I need pointers. I know who I could go to.

I guess different people have different stages of hair loss. I dont know if and when what I will do. If it comees to a time , that I live long enough to have the issue. I would not want to be too bald and not have something.....

When I was in High School it was the thing to get these little kanekalon or other synthetic fiber wigs. They cost about ten dollars each and everyone wore them. That was late sixties and early seventies. I would roll my long thick hair up and tuck it all under the wig. More recently I have worn wigs when I have performed as a clown. I have some cheap Halloween type wigs, but I also have a really nice blue shoulder length shag. I can wear wigs.

I know that wigs have come up in prices considerably and its another shocking part of the recession because even wigs are not exempt...lol

I will ask her. She told me what she paid and not where she bought it. I know it is exspensive because she wanted it to look very real.
