reading is a good hobby. it is my hobby too. before sleeping at night and sometimes in the afternoon i do some light reading where my brain use will be a little less as after reading for 10-15 minutes i feel sleepy and cannot read further. i do not know whether i feel sleepy after reading or i feel sleepy because i read before my sleep. but in that case reading before sleeping is a good tranquilizer for all insomniacs. what do you say? have you ever felt sleepy before reading?

The good way to Avoid sleep is by sipping water every 10-15 minutes. Have water bottle in front of you. If reading is 8 hour long than I would suggest variances in tricking sleep. 1. For first 2 hours use water bottle to sip water 2. For next 2 hour use juicy chewing gum 3. For next 2 hour take 15 minute break jumping and walking 4. For next 2 hours have spicy peanuts to eat every 5 minutes 5. For next 2 hours Sit-Straight and focus while listening our favourite one song every 30 minutes. Make sure all things are available before you go to library or any where you study.

These days I fall asleep doing anything except being on the computer. I can't watch television without falling asleep, which is why I'm on the computer all the time - to keep me awake. I have been taking a book to bed and reading. I love to read in bed but I just can't stay awake. Last night I did it and it took me an hour to read two pages because I kept falling asleep! I get more reading done in waiting rooms.

I love to read and there are times when I feel sleepy before I start to read, but by the time i get a few pages in I'm not sleepy anymore, but rather wide awake wanting to finish the book. I love to red just before i go to bed, although i end up having weird dreams.

When reading fiction books- especially the good ones- I rarely feel sleepy because of my anticipation of the next events of the story. But it's the opposite when I read books that I will have to study for my syllabus. Reading those books can be very boring since you are left with no choice but to study them, for the sake of completing the syllabus, but on the other hand, when you read books you chose by yourself- which clearly is of your interest, because YOU chose it- you find it interesting most of the time....

I always read in bed right before I fall asleep. I think it takes my mind of things that were going on during the day, or what's ahead. No matter how tired I am or what time it is, I always feel like I have to read at least a couple of pages. And yes, I get very sleepy!

I read a lot, but have various experiences while reading. Whenever, I read novels like fiction, I just get so much engrossed in the plot that I do not feel like sleeping at all without completing the book. But, whenever I read my study books, I feel sleepy after reading a few pages & never complete my course.
