i really don't know the feeling of having a child of my own. but for me i guess it is hard to handle it because their has no balance on everything. a father who can give protection, and a mother who gives care and love... but somehow, some single mom are strong and can handle it. can you?

I believe when you need to handle certain things under a difficult situation, you can really do it. Especially when you want to take care of your kids, the power of love can't be neglected. But, I think it's hard to be single mum or single dad. A couple can share all the burdens of the household, but being single parent, he or she has to bear all the burdens by himself or herself, it's kind of difficult. I believe being a career woman, having to take care of herself, her family, her kids and her career is already not easy. Being a single mom is even harder.

I don't think it is hard I KNOW it is hard, I was on my own with my first son for the first eight years of his life and there were times when I honestly did not think that I would make it through. It was so tough at times, and the opinion of others towards me as a single parent was pretty grim. Single mothers or fathers are strong and they also work hard to give their kids the best life, I have heaps of respect and time for single parents.

I don't have kids but I would say it is. Because you'd have to work to provide for everything by yourself and in this day and age with the cost of things that could make it hard.
