How come laptop, computer, and iphone can access internet, but not ps3 ?

ps3 has web browser and can access the internet.. i have nintendo wii and it has wifi internet connection and has news channel.. unluckily, i have to purchase the web browser separately in order to have full browsing tool.. i'm planning to get a psp later..

The PS3 can access the internet. It has a web browser installed. The 360 is the only next gen console without a web browser, but all three have some form internet access.
