Ciao Color Status - what are they for?

The coloured dots by your member name just denote how many community points you have. You earn points every time you write a review, every time people rate it positively and also every time you rate a review as well as when you leave a comment. They don't earn you more money, it's pretty much a fun aspect of the community and it's cool to watch your dot change colour the more reviews you write and ratings/comments you leave. You also get 80 community points when someone adds you to their Circle of Trust - this is not the same as adding you to their friends list though. Just because someone has a high coloured dot it doesn't mean they are better than you at review writing - it just means they have been more active on the site and probably joined a long time before you did. On Ciao UK I have a bronze dot and on the US site I am currently violet, looking forward to being red in a few weeks or so... Happy Ciao-ing and happy myLot-ing :)

hello freinds!! i am new to ciao...i want to know how it works..and how much we earn from each review written.. i wrote 2 standard reviews and 1 quick review...i was awarded 65 community points and no cash..?? can someone explian that ia bit??
