can we really reach 100+years old now a days?

at ancient times, there life span is very long. someone reaches 200, 120 and even 900 years old. i forgot the name of the oldest person before.. but now is it still possible with this pullution, global warming and garbages? what can we make to be able to stop all the crisis?

Yes. Its very possible to live to be 100 and older. People are living much longer these days. 30 use to be middle aged. Now 30 is like the new 15. 60 is middle aged now. The title of oldest verified person in history belongs to a french woman
named Jeanne Calment (1875-1997), who lived to be 122 years and 164 days old. 100 known people have lived to be at least 113 years old. The majority are Americans and the Japanese. I'm sure there's many more than that.

I don't think anyone in America will live to see 115, but I saw a clip of a guy in Germany that was 115, and he didn't look a day over 70! He was fully coherent and everything!
Due to our diet, lifestyle and modern medicine, I don't think many of us are going to see 80 (I'm talking about the people who are in their 30's and 40's right now).

In ancient times the lifespan was far less than what it is now. People only lived until 50 years old or less than that depending on how far back you go.
I know people say that Methulsalah guy or whatever his name is lived thousands of years, but talking about real people their lifespans were shorter.
