i think mylot must limit a post by member in one day between 4-6 posts only in day. i said like this, because i think so many people make a post in one day. so a post before will be going at the back so fast and the people could not read the past post. so sad right? i saw that, many people want to make more post and get the money without any sharing of post.

I definately do not think there should be a limit. I mean, I think there would be a lot less activity if there were that few posts allowed in a day. I would not be able to do anything all the rest of the day on MyLot except put up pictures or read and sort out what I can respond to tomorrow. I would not have anything to do!

I don't think that there is a limit. I have made nearly 50 posts today. If I keep it up, I will probably make 100 posts today. So, I do not think that there is a limit.

Yeah, they needn't to restrict the posts. What if some people spend some holiday here? They coudn't feel satisfied just posting 4~6 posts, hehe

Everytime a post gets a response it can go back up to the top. So if you want your posts to keep going back up just reply to a comment you received. Or add a comment to your own discussion. That way when people who are your friend go to the home page your discussion should be back on the top again. I know it is annoying when you post something and then someone posts 10 discussions in a matter of mintues (how do they do that anyways?) and bury your discussion. I think it would be nice if they waited at least a half hour before each one so they are not hogging an entire page at once. But you can float yours back up again, at least on your friend's mylot homepage.

well, i don't thinks so, this is the best aspect of mylot. we can post unlimited post. anyway mylot doesn't pay huge amount for threads and post. so, i dont thinks there will a problem for them. there are lot of ways we can search for discussion. so, i don't thinks any interesting discussion will be left out without response.

no i don't think there should be a limit to how many post you can make in one day, and i am glad there isn't. i don't really post a lot but i respond a lot, although i can say i sometimes post more that 6 so i wouldn't like that. if there was a limit then there wouldn't be that many new post and if some don't interest you then you might have to wait forever to find one that does, that's how i see it. plus you can just go to the topic that interest you.

That will not be nice. Some people set targets here because they are here to earn. Therefore they have to make maximum posts to increase their earnings. But i get your point though, try and come up with interesting post that will generate many responses. That way you can make it to the top discussions for the day and you will be there at the top.

I don't think there should be a limit of post here in mylot. Some people might be posting because they just wanted to earn but most are participating because they wanted to share their experiences and ideas. Whenever I started a thread, I make it a point that I read each and everyone's responses and I think others are doing the same. I think every post is being read.

The thing is that there is a search function that can help a person find other users discussions or responses on a specific topic. One can also check the friends discussions at any time, thus staying in touch with them. The most important topics are present in the today's top and hot categories, so you won't miss that one either. I don't think putting a limit here would benefit anyone.

I dont think Mylot should limit posts but I dont think people should post more then they should keep up with either. Its up to the person to know how much to post. I hate it when I see someone post twenty or thirty discussions and never comment on the responses and I've seen a lot of this going on.

Dumb discussions deserve to go to the back!!! So, you think that I should do less work just in case you decide you might want to do more??? I've looked at your discussions. If nobody started a discussion but you, you would still go to the back. I realize that you are new & don't understand what you are doing yet, but you need to put more thought into your discussions. I saw nothing of quality in the ones you've done so far. I spend my time here looking for 0 Response discussions to help them get off the ground. I recognize your 0 Response discussions as discussions I've passed up before because there is NOTHING of quality to say in response. You need to work on the quality of your discussions before saying others need to get out of your way. There may very well be a reason you were banned from another site

You mean posts or started discussions?
I think it should be some kind of a delay on when you can start one discussion after another, lets say every 15 minutes. Because some do like 5 or more in a minute or two.
I think you can find more discussions to answer in the friends started part ;)

Limiting the amount of posts would be unfair. Many people simply leave comments on myLot because they enjoy doing so. Taking away this form of amusement would be unjust. What if you loved to play a shooter game but you were limited to only six bullets per life?
Not everyone is here for the money and four-six posts per day is WAY too little. o_o myLot notices it when people post short comments purely with the idea of earning money in mind. Don't make the rest suffer for their arrogance.

Even though I am new to My Lot - I do not think that there should be a limit to how many post one blogger can write. It should be about what kind of post are being written, are they funny, are they engaging to read, are they informative or educational? Don't just post something just for the sake of posting, it would seem that if you use common sense that the My Lot community will embrace what you do and also appreciate the post that much more. I will be writing my very first post sometime today, I hope that some of you will read it and leave a comment or two.

Limiting the number of posts per day is like limiting creative expression and freedom of speech.
When we start writing ideas can come in a torrent. Therefore there is a need to put down the ideas somewhere. Since we have chosen myLot as our main discussion site here is where we post our ideas. Now consider a situation where we are limited to 6 posts a day. What is going to happen to the other ideas? If we wait until tomorrow then the cycle may repeat resulting in an increase of pending posts will increase.
Naturally popular discussions attract more responses. It is a fact of life the person who started it has to face. I do not quite get what you actually meant by '..and get the money without any sharing of post'. Do you mean dominating the discussions? We cannot stop them because they have their rights.

I agree with your intelligent observation on posting, you are 100% right on the money about how the creative process is not something that you plan to do - it just happens like wonderful magic.

I understand what you are saying, but I dont think there should be a limit. That is the beauty of myLot, we are only limited by how many hours there are in a day. I think it should be up to the individual if they want to spend all day on here and earn money (and stimulate conversation) by creating post after post.

The whole point of mylot is that people can participate as much as they want. If there was a limit put on the anount of discussions you could take part in everyone would get fed up and go elsewhere. All of the responses have the same chance so I do not see any problem with doing any amount that people want.

I don't think that would solve the problem at all tbh. There's still a ton of people here. Besides, maybe people start making more accounts to get the points. I don't think it's a good idea.
