Animal dont go to heaven?

Who say's we have a better intelligence then animals? I think all creatures are intelligent, just because we don't understand them doesn't mean they are not as smart as us. I do think animals go to heaven or move on to the next level of being and yes, they do have a soul. I was always told growing up that animals don't have souls ( my dear old southern baptist religion told me this) and I never believed it. I get so tired of us human thinking we are the superior beings of everything, I don't believe it, if we were so superior we should not have trashed our beautiful planet like we have, we wouldn't be hurting and killing each other & nor would we be doing other mindless ignorant things to ourselves and each other and learn to be more tolerant & understanding of each other .. As a race we have so much more to learn before we can grown into being the spiritual beings we are meant to be and I think animals are closer to being more perfect & spiritual then we human are currently are.

I believe that like people, animals have personalities. I believe there are animals bad animals and good animals, just like there are bad and good people. Just because they can't speak doesn't mean they don't go to heaven. Animals feel pain, they cry, and they can laugh (Kinda) so why can't they go to heaven. I had the same talk with my grandmother and she said animals can't go to heaven. Me, being an animal lover, was crushed by her statements, but if god made all of us how come all of the good things can't get into heaven. Some People are just so old fashioned LOL.

you couldn't call any afterlife that doesn't reunite you with your animals "heaven" could you. dying, going somewhere with only humans, and knowing you'd never see your loved animals again, well that could only be considered hell. really. worse than a lake of fire. No Amber. No Ludo. No Dusky. No Saffi. this is the only conceivable hell to me. an afterlife without knowing the love of my animals again.

Even human beings are two legged animals of sorts. So I am pretty sure if there is a heaven animals have their own version as well. But the real question is do they have a hell too? Or is a human visited location only. Because according to your logic animals do not have intelligence and thus have no way of distinguishing right from wrong.....so no point in sending them to hell is there?

of course animals will be in heaven wouldn't be heaven without them!

If I was God I would say You are totaly right. But I guess You will just have to wait until You get to Heaven and tell Him Yourself. Do everything You can to get there. Tell eveyone You know to do the same, and maybe this will be a better World to live in.

wow i like this discussion, have had this question in my head several ocassions - mostly when i have lost my beloved pets or ponder over their loss. I so cherish the thought of meeting them all again, and more importantly being able to finally communicate with them and understand them clearly..i am glad to see all posters agreeing on and fantasising an animal heaven. I believe there is one too!

I do believe that pets will be in heaven with their owners. God wants to make his people happy so why not. The bible says that the lion will lay down with the lamb. and a child will be safe with an asp so we know there will be animals there so why not pets too. The difference between animals and humans is knowing right from wrong and we can chose to do right but animals go on instenct.

Well I really do hope that animals also goes to heaven. They should also experience peacefulness specially because most of them has been treated with such cruelty. We have several pets that already passed away and I really do hope that they are in heaven right now because they've been so loyal and loving to us when they are still alive.

Animal do go to heaven and I can prove it. What is the definition of Heaven? Its a place where every thing is happy and clean and every thing you love is waiting for you. It would not be a happy place for me if my animals were not there and the people who do not like animals, if they do get to heaven will not see them or be bothered by them. As for all the other animals they deserve to go to heaven because they have worked all there life's for us or or feed us or just tyred not to bother with us. If God can except people in to heaven I know that He must except animals and don't forget He made the animals before he made Us.

Billy Graham was once asked about pets in heaven and he responded that if they're necessary for our happiness he believed they'd be there. I hope he's right.

I don't know if animals will be in heaven or not, but I hope they will. I've had some pets I'd love to see again.

ask the priest from your religion if that happens. because in religious books its mostly written only about human beings poor animals, the animals lovers should petition to the god to include the poor creatures also into it.

An interesting philosophy but where on the evolutionary scale do you stop admitting living things into your heaven. How about mosquitoes and blackflies, or do they go to hell to torture the souls down there. I hate to think of all the chickens and cows I have eaten over my lifetime hanging around up there. Think of all the manure I would have to shovel. How about bacteria and the aforementioned lettuce. And all the fish that has ever lived, will I meet "Goldie" my goldfish and "Eleanor" my guppy up there.

I beliee that they go to heaven too.Bsides,what would make them not go to heaven?They never sinned like humans and to me,they're more deserving of heaven.Humans still keep on doing the same mistakes even if they know the difference of what is good or bad.

My faith believes that animals have animal souls and they didn't fall when man's souls did. That all the evil that happens to them is because of man's fall from grace. So, they go straight to heaven. I used a Monopoly analagy about saints the other day. Martyrs pass Go, collect their halos and go straight to heaven. Animals don't pass Go, don't collect a halo, but go straight to heaven anyway.

every living thing in this world has the right to go to a better place(if there is one)when they pass on.even animals have this right after all they feel the same pain and same emotions as us so why not
