mhh the kitchen smells so good right now. its cold outside and i do not like it but i am glad were having chili. do not you just love to sit with a hot bowl of chili on a cold night. i do, i eat chili a lot during the winter because my dad makes the best in the world. and i like to put saltine crackers or those little oyster crackers, its the best. who else likes to eat chili in the winter??

My family like chili in the winter months too. We like to add cheedar cheese to each bowl and eat a tortillia along with the chili.
I do hate having to wash up the bowls after chili with the cheese. It is so sticky and doesn't want to come out easly. 
We also like white bean soup with corn bread.
Forbidden fruit creates many jams.

yes i like cheese with mine too. sometimes i have Frito's with mine and those are tortilla chips. ha. thanks for the response.

I've never been a fan of spicy foods but for a cold weather, I would like to drink something hot like hot cocoa or sip some hot soup:) For tonight's dinner, we had friend chicken and banana and cheese omelette, it's a new recipe we've concocted, i think it's good, :)

I agree. I like eating chili when it is cold outside also. I like to put shredded cheddar cheese on top of my chili and it melts and gets real stringy. It is soooo good. Tonight would have been a great night for chili here too. It has been snowing all day and still is. Brrr...it is cold outside.

The rest of my family does not like chili very much, so we don't have it very often, probably just once a year. We had it a month or so ago, so I guess that's it for this year.

Chili is delicious. I think any stew/soup/warm meal in a bowl is good for the wintertime. I'm craving some now. Thanks! =P

personally, i am not a big fan of chili, but the rest of my family likes it. we have it a couple of times a month during the winter (i generally have pasta instead of chili) but my hubby made it on saturday night. we make it with salsa, so it really doesnt take that long to make.

Ooooh.. chili! 
Now I know what I'm making for dinner tomorrow night! I've got all the fixings in the fridge and cupboard and I haven't had chili in a dog's age! My kitchen smells marvelous tonight too - I've got baked stuffed acorn squash just finishing up in the oven. Yummm...

I fix Chili a lot in the winter. We had chili for dinner tonight too and since the snow started falling here this evening it fit perfect! I like to eat it one day and if we're lucky enough to have any left over I fix Chili Dogs for lunch the next day!
