What about cuddles? I personally don't like people names for animals so I always try to come up with a nick name type of name for a dog or cat. Thinking back to my dogs I have had a "rudy" "chonker" "buddah" and a "tubby". My aunt had a "scooner" & "lindy". Hope these help!

She's soooo cute! How about Sweetheart, Sugar, or Precious? They all suit her.

I love Shelties, my in laws had one and such a great dog!! I name all of my animals after characters in musicals and ballets, lol (being a former dancer/performer, that makes sense). Congratulations. There is nothing like the unconditional love of animal family member. Hugs!

She is beautiful.Do you have a favorite girl's name? The first word that came to mind when I saw her picture was cinnamon. I know, that name is a little too weird for a dog.I have two other ideas. The first, is Pammy, short for Pamela which means all sweetness in Greek . Or, Simcha, which means Joy in Hebrew.

If I were you, I'd wait till I spent a few days with her and found out what her personality is, then give her a name that fits.

oh wow what a cute puppy you got there...i love dogs also but im not fortunate with them...i do not know how to take care of them...very sad...and my family do not like dogs also...well just a suggestion you can name your puppy DUKHA it is russian..and it means mylove....just a suggestion hope you like it and please kiss the puppy for me..ohh so cute.

Great that you have a puppy. I have a big female dog and a small female puppy. The big one is called Tina; and the little one is Gypsy. Maybe you could borrow the names if you like them. :) No new name is getting into my head right now. I took ages just to decide to call my pup Gypsy. Cheers and happy mylotting

What a sweetie baby!!! Oh she is just adorable. I saw many good names suggested. I kind of like different names (I have a persian cat named Spenser and a gray striped female cat named Tiger Baby) for animals and like to go by personality (I have called my animals baby and kitty and pup-dog for a couple days before naming them). But she looks so sweet, I can't even think of what the name should be. Good luck to you. I have an aunt who had a sheltie for a LONG time and she was just the best dog!
