What do you think about Firefox pre-releases, known as "Minefield"? The latest one is
3.1b2pre, with these improved features:
* Acid3 92/100
* Text shadowing CSS property
* Improved HTML5 support
* Faster loading of pages
* Quicker loading of browser
* Includes a close button when only one tab is opened

It's really stable i always use nigthlies, i only had to go to an older version once or twice.
It also has:
* New tab preview
* Video Support
* Private mode
