I have not written any Christmas card for the past few years. Instead I prefer sending text messages on mobiles and calling close family members to see how they are doing in their life instead of sending a Christmas card. How do you keep contact with your friends and relatives during Christmas? © ronaldinu 2008

I've never sent a Chrismas card. For the last years, since I got an Internet connection, I'm sending my friends e-cards. As for those that don?t ahve an Internet connection, I also prefer sending them text messages. Not only dose that prevents wasting paper, but the postal services in my country are so bad that even if I would send cards, I don't know how many will reach the destinationa...

I alway call my family members on Christmas Eve or Christmas depending on the time they celebrate. I also like to send out Christmas cards to let them know I care. If I have pictures of the kids I send one to. I plan on sending my mom and stepmom a picture of my two younger kids this year. They will get a kick out of it.

I send cards. People love to decorate with pretty Christmas cards! I use cards over again--if there's no writing on the back of the front of the card, I cut off the greeting part and draw a line down the middle, using it as a postcard. I cut pictures from magazines and make my own cards, too.

I send out Christmas cards, I think thats more personal than texting people. I also call family members too. I always liked getting Christmas cards in the mail from other people, so I make sure I always send some out too.

I only send a few christmas cards these days. I would rather have a few cards that mean a lot ot me than loads of cards from people that i never see or only hear from at christmas

Yes the text messages have replaced the traditional Christmas Card. This has severely affected the sale of card manufacturers and the post office has no longer queues anymore. I also greet by text messages and I send e-card to loved ones and friends abroad.

I prefer to send a Happy New Year letter. Those who send me cards, get a letter. Some are mailed, some are emailed, because some of my friends still do not use email.

Hironaldinu, I am a old fashion girl and I love to send Christmas cards to all my friends and family, also to all my neighbours, I love to just sit and write the cards out and get a really Christmas feeling with al the decorations and tree round me, I think texting them is a bit naft, they may not get your message or they change their numbers or someting always sometimes that will happen. I send text messages to my friends during Christmas. I used to send my mom-in-law and sister-in-law some holiday cards most of the time. Now we just communicate through chat or phone.

I usually call them too, I rarely talk on the phone anymore, and I certainly to do buy christmas cards because it is just too expensive these days to mail them extra, and I am a person of minimum means so they enjoy the phone call better anyhow.

We email them, and we do get Christmas cards, but I would rather email a letter. If they are close by, we will go to their place or they to ours and give them the presents. I will have to check to see how many cards we have left. Got a lot of mailing to do. And it will be all up to me, because my husband cannot do it that well.

Before when I was a kid I do send some Christmas cards for my friends as well as to my relatives. Most of the cards were my own design and creation, that's why when they recieved those cards they often give me a great thanks. But now as e-mailing were most used and card making trough some computer art programs wee easy, I think that's th best way of sending greetings to our friends and loveones this days, specially those that were far from our places.

I hate to admit it but the internet has really spoiled me. I don't send a personal addressed Christmas Card with that loving touch through the mail anymore. I send out greeting cards through the internet. I love my greeting cards sites.
