How important is the money you make here?

I don't make friends her eon mylot although there are some people who always seem to reply to my posts. I do feel a slight connection with them, but I've never met them so I don't know if what we have can be called friendship. Anyway, I don't make a lot on mylot. It's just chump change, but I like the environment here. It makes me feel appreciated and productive.

That's so true, Jay! And, I couldn't have said it better. Mylot is a super fun place to hang out. I don't know many people locally, besides my family. But, I consider Mylot to be my extended family with a circle of friends from around the world. Keep up the good posts. It's nice to have a positive and encouraging voice on Mylot.

Very nice post and nice said. For me my very first intention why I joined mylot is to earn extra money to help me with my expenses. It is very important to me the money that I earn here though friendship is one thing that I'd stay here in mylot. I really love the people here and I'd cherish the friendship that I have made with them. If mylot would not pay anymore(I hope not) I would still spend time here in mylot but not that often.

Well, I joined to make the extra money but that is not the reason I stuck around. I stuck around even though I have yet to even make pay out even once yet. I would like to but that is another story. I like the discussions and the people. So it really doesn't matter to me. I am not planning on stop coming here though.

The money i will earn here is important. it will help me pay some bills in my papypal credit. Hopefully I would do good.

The money is not important at all to me. After joining a week ago I have found I enjoy the community and the discussions alot. It's just an added bonus that I get some credit for sharing my thoughts and starting a few discussions. If I ever reach payout it will just be an added bonus.

Very well said, jayyerex! Yeah, people should really think about the ultimate reason to join Mylot, which is to help others and make friends, not making money. I remember when I first joined, I only came for the money (which is bad, I know....) but after just a few days, I found out that the friends I made by just responding to discussions and giving my honest opinions were even more valuable than the main reason I joined Mylot in the first place. True, I have also encountered many not-so-good experiences on Mylot, for example being attacked by "trolls", being verbally abused and so on; but I still continue to be on Mylot because I know my contributions are not going to a waste and many people will stand to gain from my responses and insights. Now, money is just a secondary matter to me, and I just let the money come on it's own and I consider it an incentive when I reach payout. Relationships are always more valuable than money, and I can vouch for that!

The money I am making spending here is not that improtant to me really. I do have a fulltime job out of the home where I make good amount of money. I'm just here for fun and leisure. It relaxes me and I do it on my spare time. I'm just using this as extra spending money and saving up so I have money for when Holiday comes around again n hopefully ill make enough to have more money to buy somethin special for myself that i want..I like this site though alot of nice ppl on here!

Honestly and frankly, When i first joined mylot, my first intention is to make extra money here, as it's a good opportunity for me to earn few dollars while im at home. And in a long run here, i do gained friendship which is also nice and makes my stay here in mylot more fun. So my earnings hre is important for me as it also helps me for my spending and some for savings. Happy posting.

The money that I make here is pretty important to me. It is extra spending money that I desperately need. :) But I also cherish the friendships and the interesting discussions. :) I would never leave here. I was going to once because I had posts deleted for no reason. But, I stuck around. :) I have friends here and I like the discussions. :) But I also very much appreciate the earnings that I make! :)

Good point Jay ,the money is important but it shouldnt be the end-all.For me its not so much the money or friends but the challenge to see if I can come up with discussions that people respond to and response for discussions other people start.Granted the more I do this and the better I get ,the greater my earnings and I like that also but for me its the challenge. I must say I dont interact with other people much because that is not why I am here ,I have other sites where I engage in that type of social intercation.Consequently I am not peeved by those who are only concerned about the money because that is what they are here for .Mylot is may things to many people and I am just happy to be a part facilitator of that process. So Jay continue to hold true to your honest well intentioned views ,I appreciate and respect them but also be open to those who are not here for such pure motives.

I initially came on mylot because I was looking for some extra money. But eventually when I started taking part in the discussions money actually became a secondary thing and now I love posting! I get to speak out my view to a lot of people out there and I just love that.

i just completed graduation and in search of job. so as of now i dont have an income. so i got to get some money for my personal expenses. so i think this is really important until i get another job...

I dont make money yet here. But I do hoope so. I am so desperate f earning some amount. Any amount will do to me though. I know it wouldn't be that much. But, as lng as in future it will grow. I would be so happy.

It is very important because it's the only way for me to purchase some magic props online. Too bad I can't add the real cash I'm earning from a day job into my online money. As for me even mylot doesn't pay anymore I'll still enjoy answering discussion here because it gives me a better view of life.

i think there is nothing to get personal here and i agree there are a very few people here who just write here for fun and most of us are to make money and there are a few people who want to earn money with the fun what we do here and if arent able to earn here then there is no point to write here daily spend your precious time, instead a few people who do it mylotting for fun we can follow them like just come here whenever we are bored have some discussion and leave and there are more other sites where we can do chatting unnecessarily and it is not important that they have to do it here only. yes i agree we make friends here but the friendship is limited to only mylot here and there is no any personal contact with them and this will surely not matter at all. might be you will not like my words what i am writing here but you know it is the fact and we just cant change it, so please dont mind if you didnt like my discussion but i have written what i feel is happening. there are different kind of people who think in a different way and so it is my way of thinking so please dont mind and have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Right now I have only earned $10. I have stopped because of my recent condition ( I am pregnant). So right now I seldom go online because I get dizzy frequently. Why does the money here important to me? I can use it for my upcoming child, for his/her needs such as milk or whatever. So I am trying to earn as much as possible. It's just that I can't go online as much as I want to because of the vomiting and headaches.

I think the money we earn is a way of knowing how good our responses and discussions are here in mylot. I think it measures the quality of our responses since noone really knows how we earn here. It is important because it adds to the enjoyment that we, lotters, get from lotting. It is an added and excited bonus to everyone.

Earning extra money is my first intention bring me here , but after i entering the website, i found that may be it 's a perfect place for me to improve my English because i'm not a native English speaker.So making money is not my first purpose to come here, morever,i eagerto make more friends here.
