not for me, I believe in the law of attraction to the fullest. like attract like unto its self. so there for if I go outside of what "I" believe to be moral, it is up stream for me and I will take for ever to get the energy flowing again in the right direction. Having said that, everyone gets to choose what the better feeling thoughts actions or feelings are for them. that is just how it is in my eyes. so rather than looking at some action as "imoral" to use your word, I would keep seeking clarity for myself on the better feeling thought, reguardless of what someone else may think... so that I can line up with the positive flow and let the universe show me the way. It hasnt failed me yet. my needs and most of my wants get fullfilled when I get out of my own way and pratice what I preach.
On another note, I have a slogan " Everybody's busness isn't Everybody's busness" in other words, everyone need not know everyhthing I do, unless I choose to share it or invole them in some way. So if I CHOOSE to act or think or feel in a way that others find immoral, that is thier problem, not mine.
Yet I feel compeled to share, that as long as you see yourself as "a weak willed person with no self trust" others will see you as that too and most often treat you accordingly. the only difference is that only YOU can CHOOSE to reach for ways to feel better and more confident about your self and keep praticing that feeling until it become who you are... or act as if until...
Be Well,
All is right with the world, we jsut don't believe it yet...

For some reason, this topic reminded me of Robin Hood, initially my answer would be HELL NO !!!! But after thinking about Hood I started thinking, would there be a situation where I would cast aside morality to "cheat" to get extra financial gain. I would have to say "yes", if the need was not my own and it was desperate enough, it may sway me to have empathy.

It really depends on the situation...when the person is in a desperate and do not want to give up on one option, he will seek to give up the alternative to this. Let me quote to you an example, if you have to handle your boss's demand and something personal to attend to...you will have to choose either one when time is limited and there is no one to turn to for help...choose to please your boss or your personal stuff is more important...everyone has choices in life...it is just a matter of choosing one over the other and facing the consequences...
