I had a nightmare!! almost can't breathe...

Hi dear it seems that u were watching movie about "Anacoda" and same was in ur night, but really thanks GOD that u wake up before Anacoda Swallow u what if he swallowed u????? Well i can sleep with face covering, specially in winter, and i do some times have nightmares but they arter not clear, but sure scary Wish u all the Best

I've woken up from dreams when I was out of breath. No, I could not sleep with a blanket over my face. I would feel claustrophobic.

Hello mycharm. I am so sorry that the nightmare scared you so much. It is a bad experience to have a nightmare. I used to have nightmares as well, but I cannot remember them now as it has been so long a time. I wish you to have good and happy dreams, friend.

I can not sleep with it covering my face but if I lie on my side I can sleep with it covering my head. That is only when it is cold though any other time I just can not stand to use a blanket. I am a tad bit claustrophobic so it would just freak me out.

Hei my friend, relax please, it is not real in the reality, you can go through it, and you can conquer it. Why not be brave, if it gonna eat you, you can fight with it , thinking that you will eat it (ha ha ha ha ), but it is a good way for you to make youself be brave in your nightmare.

I have had a couple of dreams like this... Most of them were actually exciting. I enjoy nightmares...

I can't usually sleep with anything covering my face, or even anything in front of my face that is too close, as I tend to feel like I'm being squashed and sometimes feel like I'm going to panic and can't breath. It might be a bit of claustrophobia. I find I can sleep with my face against my boyfriend, but when I was with my last boyfriend I couldn't really sleep with my face against him, so it might even be some other psychological thing since with my current boyfriend I tend to be able to sleep with my face against his neck, chest... and I don't feel like I can't get enough air like with my previous one. But I know people that love sleeping under the covers. And sometimes, I tend to prefer it, it's rare but most recently I tend to feel not to bad if I'm getting cold and need to go under the blankets.

I don't use a blanket unless it is very cold. Then, I make sure to cover my neck which is very susceptible to coughing. Cheers!!

I do experience nightmares. Just the same, I could find it hard breathing. But afterwards, I woke up sometimes shaking or crying. They say it has something to do with the malfunctioning of our gall bladder.

I usually dream about something or someone chasing me and they're gaining but I'm staying in the same place! That's very scary. My face is never covered but I'm sure if it was I'd dream I was smothering! Nightmares are so scary, particularly if you have trouble waking up. Look up snakes in an online dream dictionary, you'll be surprised at what some of the things in your dreams are supposed to mean!

I can't sleep with anything covering my face. But, if I go to bed very cold and have a hard time getting warm, I have put my face under the covers until my body gets warm. Then, I take my head out from under the covers. I would probably get to the point I couldn't breathe, if I didn't. Now, when our son was a baby, he would pull the blanket up on his face or he wouldn't sleep. He didn't care if his feet was uncovered, but he wanted his face covered. We'd find it over his face, remove it, and go back and check, and he'd have it back over him.

OMG! It actually brings back memories. I have actually experience that. Its not even evening yet when it happened to me. Its like an afternoon nap, the ocean breeze that pass through the window will surely makes you doze over. So me and the girl took a nap, then suddenly I cant breathe. As if there was something that frighten me. I was awake I know, but I cant open my eyes, let alone I cant move my feet and body. So I was really really scared, that I was shouting. I shout and shout but i realized that no one can hear me. Then my breathing became really heavy. Then a snap... I woke up. Sweating and trying to catch my breath. My friends were like "what happened?" that they didn't even notice that something was wrong with me. That I almost die for having a nightmare I cant even remember. But the feeling I dont think that I could forget that.

yes i have had that happen to me . but i wasnt b eing chased by a snake i was falling off of something and woke up in a sweat right before i hit . i cant stand to have cover on my face

Glad that I seldom have nightmare, I always dream about happy life. I find it difficult to sleep when my face is covered, coz it's difficult to breath. I won't cover my face anytime. Perhaps you have too much pressure in your daily life, thus you had such a nightmare? Wish you have good sleep always!

We all have nightmares, me I surely know I will be having nightmare when I am having a bad day. My nightmare show my state of being that day.

lol =D That's so funny, and u are just scaring yourself.. hehe ^_^ But also, luckily for that nightmare, if not, i think u might just suffocate yourself under that thick blanket thru the night.. hehe ^_^ So, u should actually thank yourself for having that dream.. hehe I will never cover myself till the face, because i will find it very bad to sleep.. ANd even i covered myself with blanket, i will only cover till my body and never to my neck.. hehe

I used to sleep with my head covered by my blanket. It makes me feel comfortable and safe. But I learned that covering your head while sleeping is one of the biggest brain damaging habits. So I stopped covering my head while sleeping.

Nightmares about aliens are the most common kind for me, but usually the nightmares don't really involve just me, but everyone. The scariest one I had involved a very large, city-sized alien space ship crashing into the earth. That, and nightmares where I am falling scare me the most, and I wake up sweating with my head buried under my pillow.
