just wondering how often should pillows be replaced.. Since I live in a tropical country Im used to exposed our pillows to the sun-but recently I forgot to bring them inside when the rain poured down-and geez they got soaked and so i decided to replace them as soon as possible -i think i also should set a certain period of using pillows-our pillows are now 4 years old. How bout you? how often do you change pillows?

I read some where that you should buy new pillows every couple years. Also do the pillow test. Fold your pillow over and if it springs back into the flat position then it's still good. If it stays folded over then it's time to replace it.

wow -thats a great tip -thanks for sharing -i guess i better change half of our pillows coz they failed the test having new pillows takes time to get used to coz they are a bit harder compared to our old ones but its also important to change them regularly

It's one of my topic at work in which when I discussed about asthma it is better to change the pillow more often because of dust mites and I saw the dust mites in the microscope it looks like an ugly hair lice but microscopic. But honestly I keep on teaching them about changing pillows but my favorite pillow is 7 years old already I just wash the cover and return the stuffing inside after washing.LOL

lol -i think we all have a favorite pillow that makes us sleep faster hehe how do dust mites look like? guess its there but since we cant see them we dont think it pose danger and you got a good point bout the asthma stuff-maybe we often dont realize it can trigger.

I have no idea about pillows, thank god. The maids take care of the pillows here and at home, my wife does that too. Cheers!!

yes pillows can be expensive-imagine replacing all of them at once. thats actually my dilemma i have to replace all of them coz if i retain old ones -my kids will not use it coz nothing beats using new pillows

We hove 4 pillows 3 years old. When you put this question, I'm thinking of replacing them with new ones though they are still in good condition because I think it might have rotten inside.

Yeah-I also feel the same. I think pillows are the most neglected stuff-considering we cant sleep well without them it would be nice to replace them regularly if only its not expensive
