Once you are around mylot alot more, then you get more responses. That's what i've noticed anyways. I have made a few topic discussions and hardly got responses, but people have been very helpful, and didn't need alot of answers or responses, but i think once you get familiarised with the older members, then you will get more responses.
Good luck in the future for getting more responses.

No problems. Glad i could help you out. But don't forget, the more discussions you do, and the more you answer other people's discussions etc, the more you will get trusted by other members and get respected, adn to get more responses. Take care

You need to have many friends on your list to get better exposure. Since you are new you need to make your presence known here. Not everyone come to mylot at the same time so they have not recognize you yet or have not seen your discussions. In order to be known respond to as many discussions as you can and others who come at any time can see your responses every way and they will also come to see your discussions and respond to it.

The responses above are true. You should try your best to add more friends as much as possible.
I actually made a post a year ago regarding on how to gain a lot of responses for your discussions. Read it here http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1118753.aspx
Response - An answer or reply, or something in the nature of an answer or reply.

Hello result7,
I don't really have the answer for your question. As for me, whenever I start a discussion (which is very seldom) I don't bother about the responses. Even if I only received a response, it will make my day and very happy with it. But of course, I won't mark the BR for a sole response. Sometimes I don't really understand what make others intend to respond as I can see, some of the discussions are nothing much to shout about....
