Well I don't know how long this may last, but I've won a hard battle and am basking in the glow of victory. As you know a certain, beloved MyLotter started this interest "been an idiot"---for eons since it's conception, he basked in the glory of being number one in ranking. Then oh, my his #1 status was taken away by another, then he regained his number one spot.
Ever since it's conception, I've fought a hard battle, that is my desire to be number one myself in being an idiot. I'm a very competitive person and I don't like to lose a battle, and my persistence and valor has finally paid off, for as of now, I rank number one as an idiot. Oh, my! The honor, the dignity, what can I say?
As I said, my number one ranking might not last forever, as this interest is the most competitive, real tooth and claw in battle to be number one...but as for now, on this Sunday, November 23rd, a day that will live in my memory for all time, I am now QUEEN OF THE IDIOTS

Well, it took a lot of hard work and dedication and persistence to get him de-throned, but as for the true secret I have no idea. I started out way,way back as number 53, and just kept working really, really hard at it until I am where I am today, Number One.
As for what my loyal subject can do for me...mmmm...got to think that one over and let you know

I am extremely competitive so just about everything I do I want to be #1. I'm not sure about the idiot thing though... I really enjoy having the interest, but I don't kow that I want to be any higher than my swiftly-reached #8...

To clarify this... being an idiot is not a talent.
It is too much of a commun thing. lol
My talent as a painter decorator was recognised since day one... and still is 40 years later. People don't want me to stop. I get emails from Sydney begging me to return because they don't want to employ anyone else to paint their place.
It is a nice feeling to be wanted and appreciated.
But it has its price... because honesty does not pay... not in dollars anyway.
The reason very few tradesmen produce quality work... is because it does not pay the bills. People want quality work without realising how time consuming it is... and how costly it is because of the time it takes.

I can in a sense relate to that since I do craftwork. Now because of the detailed hand-crafted work I do, most people don't realize how time-consuming it is..one of my teddy bears I make for instance takes up to three days to make. Some people who see my work think I charge too low, but I know the mentality of most people as most think I charge to much as it is. They rather by some chintzy factory made crap that costs dollars less, than something completely handmade..go figure

I demand a recount! I think it should go as far as the U.S. Supreme Court; scratch that, the Supremes wouldn't rule in my favor since I cursed them after the 2000 election...

this is the second time today i've heard something about an idiot competition..
i'm confused..
um..i can't think of one-i'm really not that competitive..i just throw something out there,and if people like it,that's cool.i'm just enjoying what i'm doing,for the most part.
although i did cause my underdog alternative school to win art awards for the first time in their history..the main high school was pissed

Congratulations, my dear Pyewacket!! 'Tis quite the honor at that, even though there are those who don't even need to try (I believe you'll agree with me on that one). But, then, since they don't have to try, they can't possibly appreciate the significance, can they?
As for me, I can't really think of anything. There are things I have won, but I wasn't trying, and other things I was trying to accomplish that I didn't. Although, I can honestly say I gained from all of them, even if not the #1 slot.
