In my area of the U.S. the weather can range from very , very cold to very hot. I have made a chart of what to wear in what weather. When it is cold , I wear a t-shirt ,a long sleeve shirt, a sweater, and a coat.

I'm staying in a tropical country where there's no winter. I studied in Australia before, and I really enjoyed the winter time there. I wore T-shirts and jeans, plus a jacket when I went out. I like to be in cold, it's really comfortable and nice. Perhaps that's because I don't have much chance to experience the cold, so I really enjoyed being cold when I was in Australia.

Hi youless. Yeah I do. I just cant stand the cold so I really make sure by wearing more clothes that are thick and warm. Imagine I came from the Philippines that never experience winter or even fall so when I moved in Denmark its a big adjustment for me especially with the seasons' change. When the first snow dropped this year, I had to stay home for a couple of days because I was so sick. Oh how i miss the warmth that the sun brings during summer.

may be some wear t-shirts but in winters we really need more of clothes and i just cant manage with only t-shirt and i need my thermals, warm jacket, gloves, socks and without this i really cant manage going out and it is just like freezing outside and the temperature is falling down day by day.
at home also i need sweater and socks along with my warm clothings and i want my heaters on all the time and without which is difficult to stay.
but i feel uncomfortable with heaters as my skin becomes dry due to heat and sometimes i may have rashes too.

Hi my friend Youless. Summer is my favorite season and I adore the warm weather. Winter is so incredibly cold and I don't like to chilly days and frosty nights. The dark evenings in winter make me feel cold. On Saturday I might wear a T-shirt, a cardigan, a pair of trousers and a pair of socks. I have a coat that in two layers, one is warm and the other is waterproof. If I go in a building and feel cold I keep the warm layer on. I know that slim people feel the cold in many layers of clothing and plump people feel warm wearing just a T-shirt.

No not really, I don't wear much in winter since I think it would be bulky for me and I just can't wear too much because I will feel being slowed down and I can't really think right. But as I get older, I think I wear more and more clothes than I used to in winter.

Why are you afraid of the cold? :) This is a hot country, and we hardly get a chance to shiver here, unless you live up north. Since I live in the South, it is always hot here.
You are right about those "some people." Some of them are so strong that they to topless, don't they?
Cheers and happy mylotting

Hello Youless, I am not sure what your winters are like temperature wise. I live in midwest U.S. and winter can be harsh to anyone not raised here. Personally I like colder weather better than hotter. I just feel more comfortable. I've spent my life in this region and most people just need to know the basic rule is, YOU CAN ALWAYS TAKE OFF BUT YOU CAN'T PUT ON.... meaning if your too hot you can take something off but if your too cold and didn't wear enough clothes there is nothing to put on. That doesn't mean we don't have those strong and invincible people here that wear tshirts and nothing else during freezing temperatures. I can never understand why these tshirt people rarely get sick from this behavior... One of the big mysteries of life here on earth...Mamablaze!!

I would not say I wear a lot of clothing. I wear a long sleeves and long pants. If I know I am going to be outside for some reason for a certain amount of time I will layer my clothing. I will usually wear my thermal underwear, and shirt, a light weight long sleeve shirt, pants, and another heavier shirt over that and a coat of course, and double socks.

Each individual is build differently.
Take me for example, when there is a strong wind from the open, I can stand it.
But if I go into a room that is cooled artifically (air con), I will get a running nose almost immediately.
Just wear a few more layers to keep warm loh. What to do?

my country doesnot have the 4-season, we are a tropical country - rain, shine all year long.
however, i stayed in japan for 4-years when i was studying for my degree..
so i have experienced 4 winters.. and it was cold - and really not easy for someone who is born and raised in a tropical country !!..
i remember wearing a thick-wooly-skintight-cammisole+ skintight pants, on top of that my normal clothes (tshirt/blouse) + jeans, then a sweater.. and if i need to go out.. a big, thick jacket !!.
and..i would try to stay indoors as much as possible.. where i had the comfort and safety of my room-heater...

well i belong to the hilly place and i think i m a "warm blodded animal", so the cold which is unbearable for other is nothing for me.
i usually do not like wearing heavy clothing, but at night it is my habit to use a blanket even in winter or summer.
but i wonder seeing girls in minimal clothes wven in winter???
