I know you can be alergic to penuts but can you also be alergic to pecans? My sister cam by a brought this really nice bag of pecans but everytime I try to eat them , I start sneezing and feel like I may be alergic to them. I never had this problem before? Have you ever experienced this with a food or pecans?

You can be allergic to pecans. Your immune system tends to revamp itself approximately every 7 years. I would suggest you to avoid eating them until you see your allergy doctor to receive a test. Trust me, you do not want to go into anaphylaxis.

I am listening to you because I am scared now. Thanks for the advice and I really appreciate it. I do have some alergies and so I am aware that it could be trouble.

It could be the pecans or maybe something on them that is causing you to sneeze. If you have eaten pecans before with no sneezing then maybe it is something else triggering the alergy. I get to sneezing if I eat peppermint and sometimes chocolate will get me to sneezing but not always. Really weird.
