With you on that. It seems that with each passing day life is just getting faster and faster. Especially now. This time of year seems to go by in the blink of an eye. I remember, as a kid, the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas seemed like an eternity. It was always close enough to be on my mind but far enough away it wasn't "tomorrow." Now, it's here and whoosh, it's gone. Where'd the time go? I wanted to enjoy it. Every year starts with the same promises of being more and more organized and this year I will savor the Christmas season. Not going to happen. Oh well. We have more on our minds, more to do, more years to remember, I guess that's part of what makes it feel like life has sped up. But I've noticed that there is an upside to all of it. While everything seems to be going by at light speed, when you do stop and smell the roses, they smell much sweeter.

The whole point of the season is to enjoy. There's nothing like the simple pleasure of a lit tree, warm cocoa and a cozy throw. However, all the work to get that lit tree up, make the cocoa and have the throw clean can take some of the fun out of it. But in the end, if you don't enjoy life, what is the point of living? Planning is great. I'm a big fan of planning. But you can plan the fun out of everything if you don't watch your step. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, but hitting that ball is a lot more fun than hitting the one you expected. There's enjoyment around every corner and one way to slow down this rocket ship ride we're on is to enjoy it.

I definitely can understand your point of view. When I was younger things seem to take a long time to happen. I think it is because there were no responsibilities when we were younger. We just had fun and didn't worry about the small stuff. I am now forty and I can't believe how quick the holidays get here every year. I used to not be able to wait for my birthday to arrive and now it just comes sooner with each passing year. Where the time goes I do not know but I can tell you one thing. It kind of scares me a little.

I have to agree that the days now seem to fly by. I think it's because the world is in such a hurry now. When I was younger the days went on forever. Now the older I get the more time goes by.

Yes, it does seem like time is going by faster and faster these days. I remember when I was a kid, it seemed like it took forever for Christmas or July 4th to get here. Now days, it seems like these days come around before I know it. Maybe I am just busier these days.

There are times when I do get the feeling that times flies by, times when I don't see the time go by. But I still try to enjoy every moment, as much as I can, even though at times it's not always easy. But you still need time to relax and do little things that you enjoy.

if you enjoy each moment in life then time fly away and as you not it get longer ang longer. the trick i believe is just relax and enjoy the situation and also understanding and listing of every one and conclude the i discussion.
