Mangoes seem to be a perennial favourite everywhere. We love our mangoes too and during summers, entire India is full of mangoes, each state having its own speciality. Apart from this, fish is the preferred food of my community. We just cant do without our fish everyday. Otherwise there are so many other favourites it would be difficult to enumerate.

I grew up in La Union. I spent 16 years of my life in that province with my great grandma who took care of me since 2 years old. It is home to the famous Ilocano delicacies bibingka and tupig. I love tupig so much that I always ask my great grandma to buy me some whenever she goes to the market. Tupig is like a bibingka with coconut shreds wrap into babana leaves and being broiled in a burning charcoal. Try it and speak for yourself.

Hi! In Leyte we have Binagol - mixture taro (Talyan or Gabi), coconut milk and sugar then packed coconut shells. There is also Moron made from ground rice cooked in coconut milk flavored with cocoa.
I have loved Cebu's dried mangoes since first they came into the market! It's really too bad that it is too costly, and when I have the extra moola, I go for the less expensive dried mango chips.
