Should office work always be in a tense atmosphere?

Our manager always pulls a long face from the beginning of every day's work. We seldom see smile on his face and it seems that everybody owes a lot of money to him. As long as he is in office, everybody around him feels repressed. He does everything in a rush, even including a small thing. So our working environment is becoming tenser and tenser because of his hastiness and bad temper! Now we don't dare but bother him! Do you think office work anould always be a tense atmosphere

I definitely do not think so, my girl! Everyone would like to enjoy the easy atmosphere whatever in working or in daily life. Just like the competition, players usually performance better without too much pressure. In the situation you mentioned, the worse thing is that he has make others down, that is unforgivable.

Bingo! It's unforgivable he made others down. Maybe he is very successful in his career, but will never be in his life! He is unpleasant among all of us!
