Do you buy your food in bulk?

In my family we often go to Costco and similar places to get our food. It tends to be pretty good quality produce and is a bit cheaper when you buy it in bulk. We only have 4 people, but we do have an extra freezer and big appetites, both of which help use up all the food we buy. Anyway, do you buy food in bulk? Are there specific types of things you buy this way, or is it everything?

Like you, our family also goes to Costco, but only like once every 2 - 3 months. We usually stock up on canned goods there, eggs (eggs in our household tend to be gone within a week or so. haha), ketchup, and microwaveable foods, like TV dinners or hot wings. For other times, we usually just go to our local supermarket to buy things like milk and sugar.

There are just a few things we buy in bulk like raisins and oatmeal which we go through pretty quickly. I don't have a lot of freezer space so the things we do buy in larger quantities are almost always shelf stable and last a pretty long time before going bad.

Yeah we tend to buy some extra stuff from food world since they give new offers every month in which you will have to purchase above a certain limit, and then as you said i in my house has a large appetite so i would really finish finish them off and next month we go to same place again..

Yes its much cheaper to buy in bulk, but i don't do it on everything. I buy bulk on products that have long expiration like toiletries, sauces, canned goods etc. Since were only few in the family I'd rather buy pastries, meats or vegetables on a weekly basis for freshness and avoiding spoilage of foods.

when we go out buying our stock at home, we choose a cheapest store and they sell a bulk one because you can save more money. and if there's a promo we go buy for it and we check also the quality of what we purchase. no specific type of things as long as we have budget.

I don't really buy perishable items in bulk because it would probably spoil before it gets used in this house, but I do stock up on canned goods. I don't buy the big cans of anything like that though. I just buy a bunch of the little cans. I have never been to Costco, but I have been to Sam's a few times before. My brother buys his toilet paper there a CASE at a time.

No.. I hardly do this, But, I do buy my food in a whole months worth. I sometimes will buy my soap like this when I have the money to. I do consider buying in bulk. It is good to do it this way. It keeps from going back to the store all the time.. But, I change up our eating habits pretty much, so buying in bulk at time will not work for us.. With our can goods it may can, But not for the other foods. We tend to switch up what we are going to eat.
