which mp is sufficient for ordinary ppl??

Companies love the megapixel game because they can market cameras that way but megapixel count by itself means almost nothing. A 12 megapixel digital SLR is not always the same thing as a 12 megapixel point and shoot. If you're shooting pictures for e-mail and not printing them at enormous size don't sweat the megapixels and look at ease-of-use, exposure accuracy, pleasing skin tones, etc. Any camera currently on the market will fulfill your needs in terms of megapixels.

for the normal person family life the 5mp camera enough and the other higher resolution cameras are just to zooomin the picture and not the big differences in the pic clarity.so we can just go to sony cybershot or canon powershot is enough
