One of my wonderful myLot friends here has recently started a discussion about her unresolved discussions. I realized that it has been waaaaaaay too long for me too! So, I just went through a couple of pages of them to award some best responses.
Do you know what I discovered? I have really had a good time here! I got to re-read some of the funniest and/or most interesting stuff!
How about you? Are you ever inspired here by someone else's discussion? In what way?

Some of my best discussions were about the simple things that bond all of us together. I have asked "Who taught you how to cook?" or other questions that anyone can relate to. We all have families, memories, occupations, homes. These are good things to start discussions about since everyone can relate. Keep writing! You'll stike the right chord eventually and then you will enjoy lots of responses!

Hi there rocketj1
Which wonderful myLot friend would that be then? LOL I wasn't looking forward to resolving my unresolved discussions but now you have mentioned reading over them might not be quite such a chore and I might just get started on them sooner rather than later! On the other hand you could do them for me if you like as you had so much fun doing your own LOL . What do you mean 'no'? LOL

Hello, rocketj1!
Sometimes, when reading a discussion about something, I get inspired. When I am reading a discussion that is correctly punctuated and well written, for example, I may get inspired to write better responses. You may find it funny or strange, but it is true.
I am glad that your friend's discussion could have some influence on you. It is always great to look back in time and remember things that you forgot. I am sure you had a great time in here, and that you will keep having even better times.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

I need to do that now that I am active again after missing about 3 months. Many of the discussions are interesting. I, however, seem to have trouble posting interesting discussions since I came back since I haven't been getting many responses and have had several with no responses at all. On the plus side I have gotten several best responses.

Hi rocket, I can relate to this. I even get carried away by reading so many postings and then I find that I have been on line about 90 minutes and have not made a posting or started a discussion! I have learnt so much and some of the postings are really hilarious! It';s like having a small army of friends to call on. Have a wonderful day

I am inspired to think and learn from these discussions. To try new things like typing with my eyes closed for a period of time like I am right now. :)

I am inspired by the friends who are always there to listen and lend an ear, not just on the good days but on the worst days. I am inspired by the laughter and the way everyone here is supportive and encouraging like you, are always an inspiration and funny lol

Oh yes dear in fact there are times when a new topic will pop up my mind upon reading a discussion here. Not necessarily copying the idea but a related but totally different idea to discuss about. Indeed the discussions here are helpful in a hundred different ways. By the way my friend, thanks fro receiving BR from you. Have a nice weekend!

I actually enjoy going through my older discussions, and I try to mark a best response for old posts at least once every day...that makes sure my unresolved 'box' doesn't overflow, as I do not tend to start too many discussions anyway, I enjoy responding to discussions a lot more!
