Stay married?

I think you have to work at a marriage to make it last, My husband and I have been married for 39 years and we have had our ups and downs. We have never had a lot of money and in the last slump we lost our house. But we pulled together and managed to survive. Now our two children are settled and we have 4 grandchildren. We live with our son and travel a lot so we are really enjoying our retirement. So a marriage can last but there must be give and take. It must be a partnership.
