or are you like me and considering starting on it, but have not even started yet? While I was in Macy's today, we seen a lady who was doing some Shopping and such and mentioned except for her husband she was now all done. I was like Good for her. That is a Big accomplishment for sure. With as expensive as things are getting anymore, we have to wait until we get certain Bonus checks, etc. from work before we can really consider it.
Since my Mom died a little over a yr. ago, this actually makes my Christmas shopping a little easier. Since I only hear from one of my Sisters anymore, all we have to buy for even is my Sister and her family. Since she moved to Pennsylvania back this last October, now it has to be Gift Cards for sure, so now I have to just find out what is near them, and buy them something for one of those places as well.
And then there is my husband. For some reason he is the hardest one to buy for this yr. I really have no idea what I want to get him. Does anyone have any suggestions? He is actually hard to buy for for sure.
Happy Holidays to you all.

I have already bought my parent's gift. My mum needed a blender and my sister bought one for her and I gave my share in this gift. I am leaving the chore to buy other gifts for my wife. She loves shopping, something that I really hate. © ronaldinu 2008

I still have to shop for my boyfriend and finish up on my kids. I will probably be helping my boyfriend with most of his shopping as he has no patience. Money has been tight so I havn't been able to buy all I wanted to, but it's the thought that counts.
Next year I think I will try to shop a little earlier and spread it out so it's not such a big expense all at once.

We haven't done any shopping yet, except for the added christmas decorations. My mom said she'd accompany me this month to buy baby clothes since I'd be due in 4months.
Kudos to those who had already finished their shopping this early. Some stores have already put up their discounts on some items but the discounts would surely be higher as Christmas Day would get closer so I think we'd wait out for that one.
Hmmm... How about a nice shirt for your husband, or a pair of socks... Sorry, my taste for buying male wardrobe is limited to baseball caps. I hope you'd get to start your Xmas shopping soon!

I just got my husband what he needed and that was jeans. Just ask your husband what he needs or if you already know go from there. I think you can never go wrong with clothes. New pants, shirts, socks, undies, can't go wrong. Even with the gift card idea, if you know a store he would like to shop at, get him a gift card at that store. That way he can get whatever he feels that he needs. I just have my oldest daughter, 2 nieces, inlaws, my parents and nephew to shop for. I will probably get my youngest niece clothes, and gift cards at clothing stores for the other ones. I'm not going over board, nor will I be calling them and asking what they want. I'm done getting gifts for my niece and nephew on my husband side and my sil leaves my kids empty handed. Burn me once, I'm ok, Burn me twice, I start to get upset, Burn me three times and I'm done. My kids have feelings and they notice when we get their cousins something, but their aunt leaves them out.

Ok, I have started, but am not finished yet. I have some gifts more to get. I have three sisters, in different ages, but one of them and I are agreed not to spend our own mony on each others children, I get gifts to mine, and she get gifts to hers. We feel it is only to change money on things they may not want anyways. But i do get some gifts for my others sisters, they seems to take christmas so seriosly. So I have my two younger sisters left and my mum and dad. They are the tuffest I have no clue what to give them.

I am not planning to do much shopping at all. Don't have the money to do it for one reason. Just be careful when purchasing gift cards to make sure not one of the one's that are going out of business. Many places that are not already closed will be closing by the first of the year and the gift cards will be useless.

Hi Krausehome! You all guys must be busy preparing for your greatest festival of the year, that is Christmas. Truly, because of the heavy inflation all over the world, festival shopping becomes difficult, but then there are so many offers in the market and one can get good deals during this period. I think you all must be certinly trying to avail it. Happy Christmas shopping!

We don't do gifts to each other and it is so hard to find and get mailed things to our family. We stopped sending gifts a couple of years ago. I make a lot of things and my husband and I bargain shop all year. We give all the goodies we have collected to our family when we go on our yearly visit.
While some people find gift cards to be a good option we have never cared for it.
For your husband, I don't know, does he have hobbies? other special interests?? Even books and magazine subscriptions to something he really likes. DVD's would be good too.

We have most of our shopping done - we need to get 2 or 3 more things and stocking stuffers, and then we'll be done! YEAH!

My husband and I don't exchange gifts. We take that money saved and take our family on a vacation every year.(not that the amount we would spend on each other would cover the whole vacation!)
I am almost done with my shopping. I have to now go threw and see what is what, get it wrapped and make sure things are even among my kids gifts. I think that I just have to get my son and his girlfriend their gift and I am getting them a new microwave and some giftcards.

We have not started our Christmas shopping yet though we kept looking around. It is a hard year for us and things getting tight. We are still trying to have little gifts to our loved ones. Especially with my step son because his birthday is on December also same with my husband's nephew. We have the same problem what to get for our husband. I would suggest just a shirt or pair of jeans. Men aren't picky with the gifts. Get some clues from his hobbies and likes.

I haven't started my christmas shopping yet. My fiance and I plan on exchanging presents but we are not going to buy anything expensive. We are getting married next year so we want to save up for the party instead of buying expensive presents. I don't know what I will buy for him, I haven't really thought about it yet. And then I have to buy presents for my parents, my brother, my grandmother and some of my friends.

My future husband and I are doing joint Christmas gifts this year, and we have everyone bought for except my two brothers--however, we know what we are getting them! We just finished shopping for my fiances sister and mom tonight (it was our study break!)
Anyway for your husband, here are some ideas---and granted I don't know how old your husband is so that might make a difference too.
-make some personal like a scrapbook or picture collage or poem, etc
-clothes
-some kind of game
-a watch
-how about tickets to a sporting event or a concert he might like?
I hope this helps! Please rate me if you liked me response! I'm new to mylotting :) Thanks! And have a wonderful Christmas!
