Ok this one is so ridiculous. I mean come on guys, how dumb can you be? According to the Times & Democrat newspaper, a couple called the police to report they were robbed of their marijuana. Here is the story: --------------- --------------------------------- An Orangeburg couple called law enforcement late Thursday claiming they were robbed -- of their marijuana. A Monica Road woman called the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office around 9:40 p.m. to report a burglary. She said someone pulled out a window-mounted air conditioning unit and entered her house. A 28-year-old man residing at the house told investigators no personal property seemed to be missing. But what was missing, he said, was an undetermined amount of marijuana, according to an Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office incident report. Deputies said the man was reluctant to discuss just how much marijuana was missing from his home. Deputies noted that several drawers and cupboards appeared to be in disarray, consistent with a burglary. The man pointed out that most of the rummaging seemed to have been done in the back bedroom where he kept his marijuana, the report said. Deputies recorded that the burglars left behind plastic bags and tobacco filling. The couple said the perpetrators did not have permission to take their marijuana, according to the report. Orangeburg County Sheriff Larry Williams said authorities will look into the alleged drug possession. "We have an admission," the sheriff said. "Now whether or not it's true, we'll have to investigate and find out.
