Uhm i've been reading a lot of news from myLotters, with a technology civilization people in the world can get a News easily, for examples from the internet, but the old media wasn't too old to leave, newspaper, magazines, radio and TV become a media that can bring people a news, which media did you read mostly to get an updated News?
Personally i read the news first from the internet, i'm not easily trust a news from one media, usually i compares the truth with another, how about you?

I read the news in different by different media. When at home i like get news from TV, so that i can sit on the sofa to relax. When on the subway to work i read the subscribe MMS from my mobile phone service provider. When at office, i read the news from the internet also. I also don't trust the news from one media too.

I did not buy newspaper rarely. On the subway, there are a lot of people to work, so it is very very impossible to read the newspaper.

Every morning as I prepare breakfast before going to the office, my radio is tune in to news so I could hear the morning news. While on my way to the office, the bus usually has its TV on to the morning news as well so I don't need anymore to read the morning papers to know about the news. I also do read some news in the internet whenever I have some extra time. Yes comparing news from different media is good because it helps you compare and know what is the truth.

Yes, it sounds too old fashioned but that is the easiest way to hear news without stopping from work.

So you much more focus on local news rather than international news, sometimes it is important to read international news coz sometimes it will affect our country too

Hey Maxilimian~I get my news pretty much the same way that you
do. First I usually read it on the internet. Then I will
usually watch it on the tv. I don't read the newspaper at
all anymore. I much rather read the news on the internet
because I get it faster since I'm on the computer so much. I
watch the news on tv in the evenings with my boyfriend because
he loves to watch it when he gets home from work and before
he goes to bed. First he watches one of the regular channels.
Then we usually turn to our local station to see what's going
on in our area. That way we pretty much know what's going on
everywhere.

I too read the news from various sources. Most of the time it is from TV during the evening broadcast. Otherwise, it is from the internet.
I do read the local prints as well. Especially the free ones that are distributed every morning.
And if I find the story a little too unbelievable, I will go on line to verify the source.

Hi, maxilimian.
Most of my news comes from the internet these days. I watch news on tv as well. We do get a daily newspaper delivered to our house, but I only rarely read it. Often I have read something of interest on the net and I will look for the other articles about it in our newpaper just to get a different perspective.

Get a different perspective is a good things, we need to filter it before accepted as a true news, i think most of us was onliner, spending a lot of times infront of the computer and when in leisure we read news on the internet

Whwn I open my computer, I see the main news on the first page.
But usually, I don't want to hear or see news, just because there is only bad things happening around the world.
I can not help, but also no one would take the time to say something nice.Like a thank you to someone, or that a person did a good deed, or have a joke.
My personal opinion is that life is hard enough as is, we don't need to hear more bad news.
We need something to enlighten our days, good news...for a change.

I watch the news over TV to be updated in the latest happenings in our country and the world. CNN is one of my favorite news channels as well as ANC. When I was working in my previous job where I wasn't able to watch TV so much anymore, I use the internet to read the news. It is cheaper than buying the daily broadsheet.

Most of the news I get come from the main newspapers and from the news programmes on TV. Each day, I have 3 types of newspapers delivered to my home, so I still read a lot of newspapers even in this age of technology. I also supplement that with news from the internet. I usually do this if I want current follow up news of certain events, eg. the recent terrorist attack in Mumbai. Because things happen by the hour, I search the internet for snippets of news updates reported as the events unfold. Since I am on the internet practically the whole day, it is useful to get such updates from the internet sources.

I usually from newspaper, online, and TV because that is the way where you can get the latest and the late news. TV is the latest news and the paper is the late news.

I haven't used internet for reading news.Instead I follow the traditional way of reading newspapers. My mornings starts with newspaper and I just go through only the headlines. Then in the evening I go through completely all the news in the paper. Also,I watch TV news of various channels about their views on all issues.Yet I feel better reading the newspapers.
