do you belive in old wives tales?
what is yur favorite wives tales and has it worked for yu
my favorite was whan i was pregnat they said hold my wedding ring over my tummy and it would tell me what i was having depending on the way the rind swang and it was right ... whats your outlook on wives tales

I really don't believe in them, but some that were right in my case was pregnant with a boy craves meats and cheeses. There were others but can't remember any. Although some were right in my case they were wrong with all of my friends.

I too loved the wedding ring wives tale. There was another one that I liked when I was over due to give birth to my daughter. The said to drink 3 tablespoons of castor oil and you would go into labor. It didn't work though and made for a very nasty experience. I think some old wives tales work and others don't. I don't hold too much stock in them usually. But the ones I know work, like chicken soup for a cold, I use.
